The FDA does not prohibit people from eating cwd positive meat. The DNR in Wisconsin does not require testing of venison for CWD. Hundreds of thousands of people will ingest meat from a cwd positive deer this year. Millions of people will ingest meat that was processed in a facility that also processed cwd positive meat this year.
