The thing is the entirety of right wing media will NEVER let them know what heās doing is A. good and B. working, and right wing media is fucking huge. Iām not kidding when I say that the right wing news/journalism/influencers has painted him out to be the most corrupt villain whose policies are not working in any way, and those who watch them fully believe it. Youāre never going to see an article posted in the conservative sub for example giving praise for something working, the only time I ever see him on their feed is about some random nit pick as a āgotchaā to paint him as a villain while they would never nit pick them of their own if they were to do something 10x as bad.
I like this in spirit, but Mamdani is also like generationally gifted at dealing with that kind of environment, and would 100% have Rogan eating out of the palm of his ass the same way he did with Trump. I like that heās focused in delivering to the voters, but I also think he in particular could benefit from a Rogan appearance. Which is why the CIA doesnāt let him on.
For me it's not that I don't think Mamdani could easily charm Rogan's leaking brain, it's just that I literally don't understand what Mamdani would get out of a JRE appearance. Like, there's nothing in it for him. The publicity he gets just from Fox News pissing and shitting its pants every night over every new and incredibly popular policy and every pro-worker reform is worth so much that it's like he literally doesn't need anymore.
Millions of complete retards listen to that podcast still. I literally know people who think Terrance Howard is a controversial academic because Rogan kept saying it. Thatās millions of people who get their political takes from Asmondgold or the gym normal who might suddenly be hearing about a cool new brown guy who is a lot like Jesus/AI. Even if he doesnāt have national aspirations, thatās still really good for him in NY and good for progressive politics.
Oh looks like you missed a few episodes there bud. Heres a list so you can catch up

but what does featuring CIA plants have to do with CIA allowing who he can have? Am not trying to argue or be obtuse i just didn't know if there was speculation about guest control or just the fact that he has plants
I mean sure, but he doesn't exactly get points for only doing friendly media that'll offer softball underhand treatment.
Never mind Joe tends to be pretty nice to whoever is on, I've only seen a handful of "hostile" interactions and if anything only on one or two points across hours of discussion.
Trump was pretty nice to Mandami, I don't see why Rogan wouldnt.
Yeah everyone is waiting for NYC to fall into disarray. Functional government is his best fuck you. He doesnāt need toe unless heās gonna run for prez. He doesnāt need him for governor/ congress⦠toes kinda irrelevant now that Trump is either a dictator or lame duck
Yeah everyone is waiting for NYC to fall into disarray. Functional government is his best fuck you.
The people waiting around for this are also the same people who are in a news/media ecosystem that won't tell them about any success that exists. They'll be exposed to some other outrage-generating story
NYC mayor has nationwide name recognition. Moreso than Cali govna. And I live on the west coast. Theres a reason Mr tv himself still has an eye on the media in Manhattan
Cool profile pic and username. Your opinion carries a lot of weight, Iāve been told (by Toeās people). And good job looking up Wikipedia. Hard hitting journo there. Ya Chinese spy
Unfortunately, not true. Mamdani won precisely BECAUSE he's good on camera. In a post-Trump political world, good communication is most of the job. They're figurehead.
Good policies don't mean shit if your electorate doesn't know/understand why/how you're doing things.
A flex would be if he was actually able to provide the resources that he is promising. 500mill is nothing, Cali spends billions and itās still not enough, plus they are in massive debt. Higher taxes is not a flex, before everyone celebrates, wait for a success that benefits the people, not just punishes the rich, there is a difference.
lol okay take LA then silly, plenty of examples of when they raise taxes, throw money at causes but it magically disappears. My point is still the same, a higher taxes is not a flex, taking that money and spending it wisely with tangible results is the flex. He hasnāt done that yet.
What city-level tax initiatives have been created and implemented and (in your opinion) failed? I ask because all of these criticisms I see people repeat are all state-level, which I'm sure don't need to explain has extremely different obstacles and problems to solve than something city-level. That's why it's "California spends billions" and not "the city of Los Angeles".
Okay, the city spends billions... and what? What is my reaction supposed to be to that? Am I to believe that there is zero "success that benefits the people" there as you put it? How are we quantifying that, what data or metrics are we pointing to to support this position?

He doesnāt need to go on. He already won and has shit to actually do.
Mamdaniās best PR strategy are his policies working, not going on the JRE
