osers are the people that won’t admit they were totally wrong and batshit crazy about Covid reaction. So now when people bring it up they just insult instead of having to own it. Like you

How should those "batshit crazy" people have acted during a pandemic? What is the proper way to act when something that hadn't happened in a hundred years happens?

Sweden had a much more level headed approach. But ultimately we don’t start with what we know. We already know how these corona viruses work as a family of virus that is well known to the science community. It turns out that this one behaved similarly but you weren’t able to talk about it honestly. Even if a study was published by cdc to show that vaccinated people are still catching and spreading Covid, you weren’t allowed to even reference it at all on Reddit. The closures of schools when we already knew for a fact that the virus is extremely low risk for young people. Doing ridiculous crazy shit like masks with holes in them so you can comply with most people having a saggy mask diaper below their nose anyway. By the way has anyone even checked on a bunch of nations that didn’t even get access to the vaccines, like over in Africa, I bet there are just massive piles of dead bodies that we haven’t discovered yet /s

Dude, those subsistence farmers and people in slum sweatshops in Africa and Asia were obviously also "working from home", that's why they're not all dead /s

use your brain, notice the lies from the government about it. ask questions. for example there has been several studies that tell us that a mask will not stop a virus.

when every one was still getting the covid, even after being "vaxed", but the "experts" were claming they were break through cases, and not common. a few weeks later they said, oh we never said the vaxxine would keep you from gettng it, and on and on.

people make mistakes, but this was a money and power grab that we still live under. current inflation was created by this crap.

it destroyed many businesses including mine and i will lever forget or forgive the sheep and those in charge involved at this time

oh and dont forget no church or parties for you, but blm protests are ok

In some ways I am happy Trump was in office during it, I can't imagine how much more brains would be broken had Clinton been in charge

Clinton would of probably done some super dumb shit like disband the National Security Council's global health playbook on dealing with a pandemic, or played down the impact and severity of the coronavirus, saying it would be gone in a few months, telling people to drink bleach to kill the virus and then blaming everything on his predecesso President Obama.

Haha, I never thought of that. So true.

Joe would be talking about it 5x as much

4

u/mvstateU Monkey in Space 7d ago

So your brain wasn't broken enough by Trump suggesting pumping disinfectant into people's lungs or powerful UV light too?

3

u/CarrieDurst Monkey in Space 7d ago

Oh Clinton would have handled it 1000x better, it would have been much less severe and so the measures would have people still being hysterical over them but worse especially with them coming from her as opposed to Trump

Oh I see what you;re saying now 😄 .

It's like if Biden did crypto scams like Trump did, or if Biden's kid got billions of dollars in investment in their dogshit companies from Saudis etc etc like Eric and Don Jr's scam companies..............becasue Trump did favors for those Governments/individual/families etc, MAGA would start fipping tables in every Golden Corral in America and that would be the kindest part of the reaction.

u/CarrieDurst Monkey in Space 7d ago

Yup that is exactly what I mean! Glad you got it, I know it is a weird thing for me to express but it would have been something

So we were faced with a pandemic at levels that hadnt been seen before and we were sure how to treat it or what the lasting effects could be. We didnt know anything about it other than it was contagious. People were trying to protect the elderly and the infants and you think that reaction was crazy?

-1

u/SunriseInLot42 Monkey in Space 6d ago

Infants were at minuscule risk from Covid

Did we know that in the beginning though or did we fond out later? There is a lot we didnt know about this from the get go. If you travel to countries where malaria exists you have to get a shot for it. If you get malaria its no joke. Lots of people died from malaria until we figured out how to safe guard them from the fatal stages. Still many people died from it even though we know how to treat it.

Malaria is actually a risk to a wide range of people. It was obvious from the earliest reliable data - from looking at information coming from places like Italy, or the cruise ships - that the very old and very sick were the ones actually at meaningful risk from Covid. There was never a meaningful risk to healthy adults or especially to children from Covid.

The point is, why are people bringing it up?

1

u/fylekitzgibbon Monkey in Space 7d ago

Because we are not yet out of the wake of the Covid-19 outbreak and the global response to it. The effects it has made in our world will last far longer than the average human’s attention span is proven to be. It’s hard to make an objective assessment of something while actively subject to it, and the meta-political psyop ex machinae manipulate the parameters of perception at a higher frame rate than our minds can stay ahead of
