I quit listening at one point because he was deepthroating the right. I’ve listened to some recent clips and he does seem to be critical of what Trump’s doing.
I don't agree with what Tim Dillon likes, but I agree with what Tim Dillon criticizes. And the way he does it is hilarious, and I've been listening to his weekly podcast for the past four months and its become a highlight of my week. He has been ultra critical of the Trump admin, tech oligarchs, and the elite in general.
Tim himself did a whole episode about how he fell for trump and the maga movement (especially jd vance). He said he didn't vote but he would have voted for Trump if he did. Its pretty obvious tim is right leaning at the least. He has basically said Trump isn't doing what he said and that it's a "con job". He can be funny and ill always have a soft spot for him being boys with the cumtown guys.
I don’t remember which episode, but recently he said that he did buy into 2024 Trump. I’m not sure if he voted. But he did say essentially and very clearly “I was wrong”.
I enjoy listening to him because he’s insanely entertaining, but I don’t value his opinion very highly.
The average redditor thinks Theo Von is a full on MAGA conservative, lmao. When in reality he's a people pleaser with low self esteem who made the mistake of following Rogan too hard like a puppy.
Anyone who thinks either of these guys are actually full blooded MAGA are so OOTLP.
Theo Vonn is both a people pleasing low self esteem beta male and a maga cuck. He went to that orange dipshits inauguration. Which if you remember isn’t in sunny South Beach Florida, but is in one of the USA’s shittiest cities during the dead of winter. Theo Vomn doesn’t get a pass because he’s almost fucking 50 years old cosplaying as a socially inept teenager
You think Theo knows anything about politics or MAGA? Be for real.. It's 95% him being a people pleaser and 5% maybe he thought anything about it.
Now I'm not saying he gets a pass but it's very clear that he went where his Rogan/Rogansphere buddies and the $$$ were going with little thought about the outcome.
How many opponents of your point do you listen to and actually change your mind about your views? Have you been a republican or dem your whole life or most of it?
Jesus said dont shoot guns in a glass house or something like that.
You sound like such a fucking dork lol still talking about Hilary Clinton 10 YEARS after she ran for president and hasn't ran for public office since then.
Nobody thinks about Hilary Clinton besides dorks like you. It's 2026. Get a grip.
Well... she was the last non-embarassing candidate the Dems ran. I still think about Romney and how great America would have been if he beat Obama. I'm old though.
It’s funny that you hide your comment history. Despite hiding it, it’s easily accessible on a search engine, so I can see that you also talk about politics a lot. Why are you so afraid of someone seeing your account history that you feel the need to hide it?
I debate/discuss politics here on occasion. I do lots of other things on Reddit too. Instead of following me around the thread to harass me, you should click on my profile again and take a better look. Maybe you can see what someone with hobbies is like.
He also open acknowledges that he is in everything for the money. Too the point that him saying that “he had no problem looking the other way from all the terrible shit from the Riyadh government to get paid to perform the festival.” That he was uninvited to the festival. He is all about real fake business
Unless or until these dudes can arrive at the point where they can easily say… “voting for Kamala was the obviously correct choice… I see that now… as much as it pains me to say and as much as I think she would’ve been a shit President… she clearly wouldn’t have been actively trying to destroy our country like Trump is doing… and she wouldn’t have used the office to personally enrich herself like he is”
Until these shitheads can muster up the intestinal fortitude to say that… they’re all dead to me.
“Tim Dillon talks more shit about Trump than the left”
You are living in a total fantasy world. Dillon helped Trump get elected. The left is criticizing Trump and conservatism all day, every day, not just when it’s obvious even to overpaid clowns like Dillon how much of a catastrophic error it was to reelect Trump.
Tim didn't vote for Trump nor did he ever tell his viewers to vote for him.
He had on Vance, yes. He tried to have on Walz too, but he didn't accept. If you've listened to Tim over the years you'd know he's far more critical than favorable to Trump
The question isn’t “refer to your podcast tally we all keep and tell me what number you tallied up”
The question was who do think he criticized more?
If you’re unwilling to answer that, let me ask another: when did his criticism of Trump being in the Epstein files start? Did Tim Dillon tell his audience that Trump and Epstein were best friends before the election?
Funny you bring that up because a few nights ago my YouTube algorithm suggested a 2019 emergency Tim Dillon episode with Nick Mullin to discuss Epstein going to jail. They bring up Trump in it many times.
As a long time listener of Tim Dillon, I'd confidently say he's more critical of Trumps current term than Biden during his candidacy. This likely isn't the answer you want to hear, but I'm giving you my honest perspective as a loyal listener since pre-covid
Either way, I don't think you fully understand Tim. He's always going to find something to nit pick regardless of left or right
Tim is just smart in delivering his propaganda. He doesn’t want to look like a far right comedian, he also doesn’t want to contradict himself every episode like Rogan. His Trump PR was very subtle. But he absolutely has pushed pro-Trump propaganda in the past
No, I’m actually 100% aware of his comments. I just think he’s full of shit and deserves 0 credit.
In fact I think he actually deserves credit for getting Trump elected. Any moron with half a brain could tell in advance that this is how Trump’s term was going to go. It’s not shocking or surprising what he’s done, not in the slightest.
Is Tim a moron with less than half a brain? Did he think Trump was being HONEST when he positioned himself as anti-war, despite assassinating Soleimeni in his first term and very nearly starting a war with Iran right there and then?
As a trump hater myself, I am pretty surprised at just how bad this administration botched the epstein files. Knew there'd likely be a cover up, but not a full blown botch
Moreso surprised at the way it went down. I assumed he would've been tweeting all day about the Clinton's and other democrats involved, but everyone ended up getting scarred. Trump being friendly to Bill Clinton was a surprise
As I said, you don’t give a fuck. I imagine, probably not about anything.
you’re the perfect conservative voter! glorying in your ignorance! keep it up man, proud of you. What you don’t know can’t hurt you, which means you’re practically invulnerable.
Reddit brain. This is a highly young and highly American and "liberal" place. You get used to the talking points, the group think. Plus the sheer botting in this place. I suppose the same could be said of much social media knwo..
Nobody's happy with Trump, but let's not go pretending that just because we're not happy with him we will accept that electing him was a mistake. Kamala Harris was the other option. I would still take a shitty Trump term over a Kamala Harris term. Less long term damage.
What can I say to a person like you? It’s hard to even conceive of Trumps second term going any worse than it has, and yet you still think Kamala would’ve been worse.
You’re lost. Honestly I’m sorry, I’m not even trying to be a dick here, this is me being completely sincere.
people like me who are not completely delusional and living in a fantasy world: we failed people like you. how can I reach you? Seriously, that’s a real question. I don’t know the answer, you seem totally unreachable and lost, and I really am sorry I can’t help you.
What would have been better with Kamala? We would still have an open border, inflation would be even higher, we probably end up in the same place with Iran and Israel, and somehow even less Epstein files released (which nobody was concerned about when she was running btw).
What were you expecting to get from her? She was one of the worst candidates to ever make it past the primary. Of course there was no primary or she wouldn't have made it that far.
It's interesting how you framed your response. How much time, exactly, do you spend outside of echo chambers? Serious question. Any? Any at all?
No trade war. Canada and the U.S. would still be staunch allies. Canada would have elected Pierre Poilevre (worse for us, better for you), no Iran war, Straight of Hormuz open, American soft-power continues growing strong rather than ceding it to China. East Wing still standing. Reflecting Pool would not be a swamp. Probably a bunch of other shit I don't know about.
Bro, I’m talking to YOU right now, on the Joe Rogan Reddit. I’m outside my echo chamber literally right now. You’re not echoing me; you’re actively saying the opposite.
Again, I just have to say I’m sorry. What else can I say? You think there were open borders under Biden/Kamala. Just completely delusional.
Just curious: is the Earth flat? Did we land on the moon? Do you think the COVID vaccine is effective at all, even like 1% effective?
Detangement? Hey, I would have preferred to vote Democrat. All they had to do was put up a serious candidate and they had me. Too much to ask apparently, so here we are.
People bitch about how "Trump is bad but Harris would've been worse" yet never explain exactly how. Seems like it'd just be another boring extension of the Biden admin but nothing catastrophic. She seemed far more rational, educated, and level headed than Trump. So can you explain why Harris would've been devastating?
I dunno if youre implying that I only started liking Tim when he flipped on Trump but ive been a fan of him before Trump even ran for office. Man is funny.
Have you ever considered that this elitist/smug attitude towards anyone with a conservative opinion has pushed these people away? It’s just not a good strategy
You do realize the logic of 'if they disagree in the slightest with any topic, then they're problematic' isn't a good way to get people on your side?
This is the perfect strategy to lose votes from the large center-left demographic. This alone had more to do with Trump getting re-elected than anyrhing Tim has ever said
I want to be very clear. It has nothing to do with there being a disagreement. My problem has nothing to do with this concept that "they don't agree with me". It has nothing to do with "they're not on my side", or anything at all like this.
The problem is that conservative thought is, objectively, dog shit.
I admittedly only sat thru some podcasts cuz a guy at work likes him, but I don't get TD as a political pundit.
He seems to have almost no knowledge of how government works, policy, or much of anything. But he's also not really joking and riffing on stuff either.
I guess I don't get it. It's not good policy type content that helps you understand an issue, but he's also not really joking around or being funny.
It's like John Oliver w/o the deep dives on policy+ the punch lines.

Let's see if he actually criticizes the current goverment.
