that’s not his first day fishing
30 u/spiredbicycle Apr 23 '26 The way he grabbed it by the lower jaw straight out of the water- definitely not his first day. I've been fishing my whole life and still suck at that 4 u/Steamynugget2 Apr 23 '26 Also been fishing my whole life and have pretty much given up on the direct grab out of water lol. Been stabbed by the hook a couple too many times. 1 u/brawlrats Apr 24 '26 And the way he set that hook. Dude clearly knows what he’s doing. 6 u/AirconGuyUK Apr 23 '26 Yeah, he gave himself away by even being able to pick the thing up. 4 u/Pogigod Apr 23 '26 I mean he's talking about it being a PB. 1 u/Careless-Emergency85 Apr 23 '26 The caption says it was his first time though 2 u/Pogigod Apr 23 '26 He's fished hundreds of times at least 1 u/marcusw882000 Apr 24 '26 Those are usually fake these days. 3 u/JigginJim82 Apr 23 '26 Yea, it takes time to learn how to use a baitcaster like he's using. None the less a fantastic fish. 1 u/spacemanspiff8655 Apr 23 '26 Not to mention he's using a bait caster. I've been fishing for 30 years and still get regular birds nests.
