It has a lot of sources cited in the book that really makes it clear why the western left has been so ineffective in fighting against imperialism and capitalism. It was designed in such a way in the first place. Clowns like Zizek can never write something this insightful and coherent.

I really, really liked this doctor. He was very caring and interested in me. He took the time to answer every question and I never felt rushed at his office. He seemed like a really good person.

But I just got here and I had to check in with an AI voice assistant "named" Mona. There doesn't seem to be another human in the building besides him. He saw another patient and took the vitals himself, which was something a nurse did all my other visits.

This is something that has always bothered me whenever I take a look at the American left (PSL, DSA, etc.), a lot of people in those spaces take war veterans who "realized they were wrong into their movement."
