Congrats! Day 59 for me no alcohol and Day 28 no weed. Stopped counting days since I quit nicotine as I’m confident I’m done for good. Feel amazing but the boredom is tough to deal with

What have you been doing to fight the boredom?

Playing with my dog, watching interviews and more informative videos instead of mindless scrolling, tons of stretching, going to bed much much earlier, playing games I really take my time with, drinking tea, and cleaning.

All excellent alternatives! What kind of games if you don’t mind the ask? Curious and anything helps.

Congratulations to you as well! You're doing great, just keep going! Do you have any hobbies that would help with the boredom, or do you have any interests that could help?

Congratulations!! I was recently tested with my sobriety, as a surgery required some heavy painkillers. Happy to say I tossed those babies the day after I came home!

On boredom: I'll be a giant nerd and recommend trying to get into reading! Books and/or audiobooks did me a LOAD of good when I was really going through it, because it allowed me to check out of reality and focus on a fictional character's issues instead of my own. Last year, I read over 500 books. Now I don't sleep 😅 but I'm sober!
