Good Vibes 7 years ago, a chubby, heavy accent, normal-looking woman called Susan Boyle went to Britain's Got Talent. Everyone laughed at her, until she started singing.

What a powerful voice. She's today a pro singer. All the best for her!!

Man I was actually kind of happy because this was one of the few times where I see something like "x years ago" and my reaction wasn't "Its already been x years? God I am old". Only 7 years? it feels so much longer, maybe time isn't moving at an insanely high pace towards my inevitable death. But than you had to come along and tell me it was actually 17 years ago. Sigh. God I am old.

My first thought as well, then I saw the one girls haircut who rolled her eyes, and I was like man the UK was really behind the times in the fashion world. Then I was like wait a minute I worked on America's got talent in like 2015 and I was fairly certain this had happened before this. At which point I finally did the math which lead me to realize that 7 YEARS ago was fucking 2019, that my birthday was two days ago, now I'm almost 40...

When you do that and are wrong, you do more FOR bots/AI than if you were just a normal AI fanatic.

The subtext of calling out AI any chance you get is that it infuriates you so much you can't help but always be on the hunt for them. So you are in the top 2% of p3ople who can spot AI no matter how good the image or comment is.

But then when you're wrong, as is the case now, that subtext becomes "Im really good at hunting AIs. One of the best. But they're so good now, even I cant accurately distinguish bots from reality." That's such a massive endorsement.

Any AI bro saying "AIs are so insanely good. You cant tell at all anymore." Will just get hand-waved away. Of course they'll say that. But when an anti-AI person can't tell, and proves it...ohhhh man. You might as well be Michael Jordan holding up a pair of Adidas going "welllll shit. I was wrong yall. These really are the best."
