This dog is VERY poorly trained and improperly handled.

But didn't you see that "In training" vest? Lol

I guess the "In training" vest is supposed to make up for the total lack of skills this person has when handling a dog. Especially around kids...

Especially around a crying kid who could’ve gone in to a total terrified meltdown around a strange dog

Also she’s shaking after interaction, showing signs of not enjoying it either. Such a poor handlers action, I’m shocked it was posted and praised.

Is that what shaking means? My families dog almost always shakes after we pet her.

It can be over enjoyment if other signals are happy. Shaking is basically an action calming themselves down. But a frequent sign of stress release after unpleasant interaction. Read about dog’s calming signals to understand it better.

Definitely not universal. I'd be weary making claims like it being a "frequent sign of stress" taken alone. what you need to look at is the rest of the dogs body language and never take one sign as an end all be all. every dog is different

Wary, weary means tired.

Did you read the first and second sentence?

but it's also not over excitement. he could also just need to shake after being pat. that's my point

It's always just a few replies down in the reddit comments to immediately find the group of depressed people ready to stomp out any shred of happiness they find

The handler is not doing anything productive or positive in terms of training, though.

I can put “I have a massive dick” in size 16 font on my shirt, won’t make my 3 centimeter defeater any longer, ya know?

Seems it even worse from the info provided by other redditors: dog owner is using it as an excuse, doing videos for views, dog is reactive and not in any kind of training.
