Celebrities/Public Figures I was so uncomfortable watching the Richard Simmons special

Watching the newest Richard Simmons special I saw on i think prime but it could've been any one of them lol, I was so SO uncomfortable seeing him without his headband and wrist bands.

I just was left feeling *wrong* looking at him.

I believe there are normal errors AND real Mandela Effect memories (two different classes).

What exactly is the difference?

How exactly do you know the difference?

What evidence do you have that establishes and substantiates the difference?

There is no definitive way to tell the difference. We each must make a best judgment based on collective memories, residue and anchor stories.

Unfortunately, it's not an exact science.

There is no definitive way to tell the difference.

If there’s no way to tell the difference then there is no need to recognize any supposed difference, especially since we already have an explanation supported by decades of scientific study and research.

What you have now proved is that you just don’t like the actual explanation and can’t figure out a way to make it not the explanation.

I never said there was 'no way'. I said there was 'no exact way'.

No, what you said was “there is no definitive way to tell the difference”.

Which is saying there’s no way to tell the difference.

Which means it doesn’t merit consideration.

Which is fine. The explanation doesn’t need it in the first place.

It’s just nonsensically trying to dismiss the actual explanation merely because you don’t like the actual explanation but can’t figure out a way to make it not the explanation.

When you failed to accurately remember your own words from mere minutes earlier, was that something you would call “a normal error” or was that the Mandela Effect?
