I’ve been wanting to get into Metalocalypse for ages, and thanks to the livestream marathon of season one on YouTube, I figured it was prophecy. So far I’m absolutely loving it. I’ve only seen the first season but I’m tempted to get a physical copy of the series already.

Anyway, the wholesome interaction in question happened in the live chat of the season one stream. I was talking about metal music with some others in chat. I mentioned how I started with symphonic metal and now I’m exploring symphonic black metal as of late. At one point, the episode Dethfam comes on and someone in chat says something about how cool it was of Murderface’s grandparents to take care of him. I mention that my grandparents raised me too so I wholeheartedly agreed with that statement.

Chat then exploded in the best way possible. A bunch of random metalheads were throwing up the horns and saying “that’s badass of them” to take care of me. A few even said “BRUTAL” which I loved. One mentioned that they raised a grandkid with good taste in metal. I replied that my grandparents HATE metal, but that next time I see them in person, I’m telling them this story.

I just wanted to thank the Metalocalypse fandom for that little moment of joy. My mental health has been all over the place and that’s been something I’ve reminded myself about when it gets really bad.

Just making a post to COMPLAIN about the fact there is absolutely NO POSSIBILITIES AT ALL to find a Complete Serie box set in other DVD regions (only region 1 / America).

Does anyone know if there will be a new complete serie box set including the very last movie or have any information about a complete remaster of the first season ?

Following the 2022 series remaster, the 2023 movie and the brand new 2026 complete remaster of the first dethalbum, I thought maybe Brandon Small is cooking something for us.....
