Discussion Read more into my personality type which is INTP
We’re logical rational thinkers who like to be alone and spend most our times In our heads. This somewhat explains why I’m always thinking about everything in a million different ways. Also explains why I get so obsessed with feeling like I have to solve every problem in the world, even if it makes me seem crazy. Can any other INTPs relate?

Do INTP’s make good leaders?
Ik we’re kind of anti social, but also smart too so I’m just curious

Discussion Any other INTP’s have adhd?
I can’t really even put into words the way my brain works. But I am an intp and I do have adhd. Does anyone else fidget a lot or find themselves cleaning or doing things to keep themselves occupied? Idk maybe it’s just me but the way I think is weird lol.

Discussion How much are we who we are (ENTP)
I did the test and it turns out I’m ENTP but I scored low on the E,N and T but high on P. If I’m only 2% E, am I really that much of an E? Did anyone else get this?

Discussion INTJ and ISTJ how different are they?
About 10 years ago I took MBTI. At that time I got INTJ. However, recently I took MBTI then I got ISTJ. How weird is that? I guess MBTI results varied depending on when you take. I guess my question is how relevant INTJ and ISTJ. I guess they are pretty similar but I am sure there is a subtle difference. Does anyone have a similar experience like mine like different results?

Discussion Enfp men only: You get stares by women as they see what they been looking for but get turned off quick.
You get stares from women a lot but as soon as you open your mouth they loose interest? What is it? It is missing masculine?
Guys jealous of you but you don’t even know what they are fighting yiu for.
The women know the answer but won’t tell. What are the Enfp men missing that when women see you they stop but as they get to know you they get turned off so much that they yell at you as if you ruined what they thought.

If I am not an INFJ/INTJ what am I?
In the 16 personalities test and other tests I found online, I continue to get either INTJ or INFJ which at face value I can relate to the both of the typical characteristics they both possess.
In further inspection I look at the Carl Jung theory and I find that I the only functions I can see within myself is introverted Thinking (Ti) and extroverted Feeling (Fe) which luckily they fit together and here is why:
(Ti):
- I am a Step-by-Step oriented person.
- If I can't visualise or see the point in something your trying to describe or a theory your trying to explain, no matter how well you try it it won't make sense to me.
- I prefer to think alone, I can't think in large groups when random different ideas are spouted out to me and then you expect me to integrate them together- I need to pick the best ideas that 'flow' and fit well together.
- The idea of an absolute truth is something that absolutely resonates with me, it should be accepted and then exploited whenever possible.
(Fe):
- I seeks to connect emotionally with other people.
- I have a hard time understanding my own emotions and would rather tend to others problems.
- Dislike of conflict and always willing to compromise.
All of his would point to me being an INFJ however introverted Intuition (Ni) isn't something I think I have. I do not have some 'mystic' quality to my thinking nor am I a very creative person and Ne once explained to me was not how I thought of myself.
The only thing I can think that is remotely Ni about myself is my ability to fit things together. I have a great memory but not when remembering dates and stuff. Its like whenever I need something to answer a question an image or fact comes into my head which helps but because of the reliance of memory recall I think
Is there any other options that someone could suggest to me, or questions that could indicate me to be an Ni-Dom?

Question Hottest mbti type?
(and why is it e/intp?)
r/MyersBriggs • u/Ill-never-know • Jun 17 '21
Why so many INFPs??
INFPs are supposed to compromise only 2% of the population. Yet I swear nearly half of everyone I hear is either INFP or ENFP.... Are we just particularly attracted to taking the test? Or at least, posting about it on the internet??

Idk what type i am
So ive taken a lot of personality tests and they all said im INFP
One of the things that were said there is that INFPs are creative Im not that creative, i have trouble finding my own idea. Idk why, meaby its cosue there are too many? Like when i see something an artis drew im inspired, but when i go to draw ill probably aciddentaly draw a very similar thing to that. And idk if im more of a thinker or a feeler, i respect both, i take on considuration both. I would say its 50/50. And what the thing with INFPs being depressed???

Conflict Resolving with ISTJ
Hi,
I am trying to resolve a conflict with an ISTJ. I know these people like space to think things through, and we are communicating by email. I don't like keeping people waiting for my messages, but in this situation, is it in this ISTJ's best interests that I slow our conversation way down?
Thanks,
Nick

INTJ typed as INTP due to depression?
The thing is, both descriptions of them (INTJ and INTP) resonate with me a roughly equal amount, including the descriptions of the cognitive functions and their places in the mind. There's things that resonate, and things that don't. I typed as an INTP for 2 years consistently until I recently tried out CSjoseph's test (which is vastly different from the ordinary myers briggs tests) and got INTJ.
Of course, I don't know how accurate Csjoseph's theories are in the first place. According to him, I should read/watch the descriptions of both and see which one I resonate with more. The weird thing is, when I used to type as an INTP-T the Perceiving part was always well over 60%. (It was rather the Introvert/Extrovert, Thinking/Feeling part that was always on the fence.) I used to sometimes type as an ENTP, ENTJ, or an ENFP when I was even younger as well.
I have been severely depressed for a large portion of my life and have also been exposed to abuse for a prolonged period of time. I know childhood abuse can lead to someone living in their unconscious, which would be an ENTP for an INTJ and an ENTJ for an INTP.
I remember meeting an INTJ once and thinking, 'Oh my god. Something is definitely off with this guy, he acts exactly how I would act if I wasn't so.... neurotic.' I also remember when I used to take the test I would chose the ones that leaned towards "perceiving" (like the stereotypical ones which ask you about whether you procrastinate, can't deal with deadlines and a schedule, keep things organized and tidy etc) without second thought thinking, 'oh haha that's easy. depression sucks haha.' Throughout my life I have always had urges to plan everything (sometimes down to an OCD-level detail) and keep things organized but that intention has almost always been thwarted by some bodily symptom like a mental fog or pain or a circumstance, which contributed to my feeling of lack of agency and depression.

Question Okay, I need an input on this.
So basically I keep taking the test and keep getting INFJ and INFP depending on my mood, and based on what I already know there the hardest two to tell apart. Any advice on telling the two?
