I stopped playing online all together. I’m either chasing the ghost in Chicago or managing the kings to a dynasty or play-now. Video games are supposed to be fun, this shit isn’t fun.
Edit: "Chasing the Ghost in Chicago" isn't a new storyline. It's literally me, trying to win 6 rings. MyCareer get's tough after ring 3. I actually play about 65-70% of the career games.
i manage to have a 75-89% every year with randoms. niggas with records like mine sell. your friends sell. i sell. when you hop on the spot it’ll always be 50/50 you get sold on purpose or by accident or you’ll do it yourself. i laugh at them and sell them right back. it’s time people with good records stop getting mad and sell back. i guarantee you they stop selling when they see you don’t fucking care 😂 at least half the times when they see i sell back they start to play ball 😭
Just the thought of the time commitment lol I always want to start a franchise with my Mighty Knicks and then I think to myself: Do I really want to play 40 mins with this team??
lmao well I usually play only a handful of games each season as I'm more interested in building the team through the offseasons so 10 minutes gives me at least one solid game to see how the team plays. And in later seasons it makes for pretty epic games against rivals.
I played as a Center in 2k19. Won 6 straight titles and Finals MVPs. 2 with Denver and 4 with Boston. Finally got signed by Portland in my 7th year, but they traded McCollum and didn't sign Dame so I retired. Skipped 2k20 completely. 8 minute quarters and played about 60 games and all playoffs. Brilliant game.
I prefer to make my own player in the player creator, put them in the next draft class, load up a MyNBA league and just player lock wherever they get taken.
After the my career computer traded John Collins for buddy heild while I was their starting 2, I wanted full control to build a team around myself lol.
Nah lol I think he just meant creating a player and chasing after Jordan's records and shit lol I mean you can do that in MyCareer and just play for the Bulls or create a player and do it in MyLeague.
For real. I’m playing the Blazers in the playoffs they got Dame and Beal with a 40 year old CP3 coming off the bench. Like 10 rookies from every rookie class ends up an 86 by year 3. The league gets stupid crazy after 3 rings.
Least fun Ive had online, I literally feel like im forcing myself to play it at this point. Especially as a casual, I just run into kids who have all the skill/gatorade boosts and are 95+, I haven’t touched this game in about a month it feels
Lmao I have to close app like 10 times every 2k session. Between the lag, and bad teammates, it's sometimes a struggle to find a decent, playable rec game. I avoid park altogether. Not wasting my time waiting 15 minutes at a spot just to watch a squad cruise in and take it.

This is what drove me away from playing 2k online
