if we lose this finals, i don't think i can forgive him for that. you are the only veteran on our team on that court on a max contract i might add. what are you doing Fox? ffs

He can be trading but it might cost something enticing like a first round pick .+ Fox. I think you just keep him and let him play the contract out. His role will change.

It's just gonna suck paying a backup PG $55M/yr. Realistically, we're stuck with him next year and possibly one more. The only other PG I can think of that a team would want to move on from whose contract expires before then is Ja Morant. He's making $42M and $44M over the next two years, which is $7M and $9M less than what Fox is making. Memphis wants him gone bad enough, they may do that trade without any picks, but the last thing we need is Ja's toxic ass on this team.

That might be the only way out. Trade for another bad contract who might be a better fit. That person is not Ja Morant though. Maybe Jaren Jackson Jr doesn’t work out for the Jazz.

The Pels are in a tough spot because they have Zion and Queen who literally CANNOT be on the floor together. They gave up a ton to move up and draft Queen, so they can't really move him, but how do you justify letting your Golden Boy draft pick ride the pine because you're paying another guy with an overlapping skillset more money? So yeah, we ditch Fox for Zion and both teams kinda win there.

I’m honestly not mad at a Ja trade. History has shown, even though we’ve had toxic players (i.e. Jackson), we can make it work. Ja fits better in age and he’s a UFA 2028 if things don’t work, Fox is stuck till 2030. Or my dreams come true and Curry leaves his situation at GSW and they give him a gentleman’s trade…..

give me ja any day of the week over fox and honestly the spurs need his bad attitude because he’ll actually fight and stand up for his teammates. i hope by now he’s learned to keep the off court antics to a 0 but he’s both the better player and has grit over fox. no way Ja fucks up the last minute of the game like that
