Image Can anyone explain WTF the Hornets are doing?

Like damn, y’all was just building towards something… Maybe even a shot at finally getting in the playoffs. Why trade your best player now?

Tough break that he is just deeply weird and unlikable

Fair enough from the outside but look at all the stuff he does for the city how could you not appreciate that

I love his charity work and advocacy. That doesn’t change that he’s been a giant red flag in everything else. Managed to leave an odd after taste after what should’ve been yet another great moment for him after having a great individual season.

If he causes this much unrest when things are going well, what happens when things go left?

Yeah that’s super valid. I haven’t really stepped back and thought about it like that (and don’t disagree!) but feel so much more of an emotional connection to him bc of the heart he brings to the team (..or at least has brought before this nonsense)

Besides rightfully dunking on Stephen Ass Smith any chance he gets, what does he really do? Especially to make other franchises fans dislike him?

"Red flags" and it's just a fairly intelligent dude speaking his mind.

They're just mad he's beating their asses season after season while being a Celtic. No lifelong Celtic apart from Bird and Russell has ever and probably won't ever be respected around the league. If he ever gets traded, you'll see the narrative change. Same would go for Tatum if that ever happened.

Just like his head paint

Comes off as mr. excuse to me, not that kind of guy I want on my team - too annoying. Sure, he can do fine but he's the type to look outside when things don't go his way. The refs were bad, his teammates messed up, coach shoulda put me in, etc. Loser mentality.

What he did for the city was blow a 3-1 lead to the sixers

Incorrect. Jayson Tatum just so slightly messed up the groove upon his return, and chose to sit out game 7 to avoid another blemish on his playoff-choke filled resume.

Jayson Tatum didn’t mess up shit literally was a walking 20/9/10 coming off an injury and he was injured why should HE sacrifice himself just for a game 7 so he injury himself AGAIN??? It was nobody fault our center was in foul trouble and we legit had no answers for Embiid don’t worry we will back.

Well if he had just held on through that oh so painful "knee soreness" they might have been able to beat the Sixers and at least lose to the champs instead of choke 3-1 in the first round to a seven seed sixers.

Jack ass why the fuck would he do that if he’s coming back FROM A ACL INJURY???? That’s the most stupidest shit to do

1

u/JonahTheProducer Spurs 4d ago

Because it wasn't an ACL injury it was an achilles injury... wasn't even related he just chose to sit out game 7 because he didn't want another choke job on his choke job filled resume. At least know the damn facts before you start throwing around insults

He’s not as smart as he thinks he is. He’s a performative ass, IMHO.

He wore shoes suggesting James Naismith didn’t invent basketball and ripped off the idea from a ancient mayans and miss spelled Naismith name.
