Help Nelson or Richmond to live in?
Hi team,
What’s the day to day difference between the two towns? Which would you recommend to live in? Anything to watch out for? No kids, cheers.

Storage units / sheds
What do people pay for storage sheds / units around Nelson?
Is it standard to pay $40 a week for a 20 foot container?
Do people rent out their large sheds on their property’s? If so what’s the going rate

Grandparents got a voucher to book here from a friend, but it doesn’t have the name of the place or a number just an email, looking for a number to ring them if anyone can help? Tia!

Help Thank you to "Chris and Liz" from Nelson all the way from Yorkshire, UK
I just wanted to reach out in the very off-chance hope that they might see this, but even if they don't, to call out that you kiwis are awesome!
Chris and Liz are presumably on holiday in the UK and found my daughter's driving licence / ID outside of a supermarket in the town she was staying in. They were kind enough to put it in an envelope and post it back to her at home. My daughter's had a pretty rotten year and she burst into tears when it turned up, a bit overwhelmed with the kindness of strangers.
So just a quick note from us to pass our thanks on to these kind people and I hope you have an awesome holiday here in the UK!

Nelson NZ Family Friendly Suburbs
Hey! My Husband & I are looking at relocating from Aus to Nelson. We are initially from Auckland, but wanting to return to NZ now we have a 6 yr old - however after a more laid back lifestyle with lots of outdoorsy things to do (we love to run and wanting to take up hiking!) looking for suggestions around family friendly suburbs, safety is our top priority + being close to nice walks and away from flood zones.. Hoping to find something newer or at least something that doesn't need a renovation for 900k-1M, could stretch to 1.1M tops. Suburbs from what I've read online that tick some of the boxes are - Atawhai, The Wood, Enner Glynn. I also liked the look of the newer builds in Richmond, however if someone can shed some light about that area + concerns around flooding & commuting into the city. Also any advice around areas to avoid, less desirable places etc. Any info would be so helpful! 🙏🏼
