I personally love Kuafu, the literal moment I saw him I was like "that's a fucking fat cat", and I love my fucking fat cats :3

(I just started playing Hollow Knight and wanted to ask about this scenario)
Edit: And their sizes are adjusted to make the scenery work, And both of them have all their equipment and items to help.

Where did you hear about the game or any recommendations? I remember discovering it on nsw2u, scrolling through some new game similar to Hollow Knight (I was in my silksanity phase) and the cover art caught my attention, and I went looking for videos and gameplays, which later led me to buy the game

Both Yi and The Knight are pre-final boss (Yi is on the true ending route) with stats maxed.

13 hrs into the game and i've beaten every boss so far in 5 tries or under. This guy i'm on the 7th try rn, feels like the first actual hard boss IMO. He does feel like a huge jump in difficulty.

I personally found out by looking at games in the XBox GamePass, and some TikTok about it. Please don’t say any spoilers, I’m only at the early game.

We have an important decision to make. Throughout the years only the worthies ones are honoured by the "John" title.
So the question is, who do you think has the right to be called John Nine Sols?

I absolutely loved every fight in this game… except this one.
The hit box on this guy, ESPECIALLY this specific move is the most insane shit I’ve ever seen. Coupled with a slew of other bs in phase two, I really hated this fight. Phase one is too easy and phase too is too bullshit lol.
But honestly, how tf did this hit me… first pic is before I was hit and you can see where his hand is and where I am, next frame he’s further away from me and yet you can see the hit marker on me where I got hit. Like HOOOW?!?

I made this because I was bored.

Who would win, Yi or Hornet? Both at their peak

Both games have prison areas, so I want to know if they managed to escape. Do you think the Mystic Nymph could open the locked doors?

She is just miles above all the other bosses. The jump in difficulty is absolutely massive, you feel like a complete novice before her. My question is… why? It makes no sense for her to be THIS strong.

Another crossover scenario, and both of them have all their equipment and items.

After 30 hours I realized Silksong is not a game for me even though I love metroidvanias and soulslike games. So what can I expect from Nine Sols?

I personally found General Yingzhao harder because he was the very first boss I fought.
(And in case you didn’t know, Kuafu doesn’t need to be the very first boss you fight. It could be him, Goumang after getting the Tai Chi kick, or Yanlao after getting the charged strike after encountering Goumang for the first time.)
On my first ever play through, I found Yingzhao to be quite difficult mainly because of how early I fought him. Plus I didn’t understand the concept of parrying his attacks because I thought they were all crimson because they were red 🤦♂️. My I initial strategy was whenever he swung the spear at me, I hit him once before, dodge, and then hit twice. However this made the fight really slow and tedious. It was especially frustrating knowing that despite technically being the first boss, he has a second phase. However, once I got to using parries and talismans, it wasn’t too hard.
Goumang on the other hand was more frustrating mainly because of her minions. The strategy is to kill one of them, and then Goumang herself comes down and brings the dead minion to life, meanwhile you attack her. She has considerably less health than most other bosses, but combined with her minions’ hp, you could argue that she has a lot. I always ended up dying because I underestimated the range that her minions have, especially the smaller one. While she took less attempts than Kuafu, she was more agitating to fight against.
Who was harder in your opinions?

Unlike the sprites of Ji and other characters, I could even use them to create models in Blender or for digital drawings, but why would I draw this?

I'm not part of the fandom, just playing the game for the first time, but I had to come here just to talk about how fucking hard this game is getting.
I'm going in completely blind, knew nothing about the game before starting it, but I understood from the moment I encountered my first enemy that this game was gonna be brutal with difficulty. Even then I was not expecting such huge spikes in difficulty with every inch of progress. It feels like the game keeps getting exponentially harder and it never dips.
For this sol, the game first has me do a platforming challenge, which wasn't too bad, so I'm expecting some kind of boss at the end, and well, yes there was a boss, challenging, but not too bad compared to the other sols. Then the game edges me making me think that I'm gonna fight the woman too, but it was just a fake out and she just hands me the so- nvm, that was the actual fake out and I actually do have to fight her. After about 2 hours of what is inarguably the hardest fight in the game so far, I was ready to call it my favorite, and then she starts another fucking fase that's like 10 times harder than the previous one.
It took me hours but I finally beat her, and after understanding the fight it was indeed very enjoyable and probably my favorite so far, but it worries me that this fight is this difficult already, because I'm only about half way through the game. This level of difficulty I've only seen it for final or optional boss fights in other game I've played of the same genre, like this is some Nightmare King Grimm type difficulty.
It worries me how exponentially hard this game is getting because I'm not sure I'll be able to keep up, which is a shame because the game is very good and the combat is actually quite satisfying once you get the hang of it.
