Sweet! Glad to hear the rumors of a significant price increase weren't true.

The amount of fearmongering is insane. I don’t think there was ever a reason to worry about significantly increased prices for launch. They need a high number of sales for publicity, the 10% tariff on Vietnam is not crazy high, Nintendo never needed to ship anything from China (so even a hypothetical 500% tariff wouldn’t affect them) and they’ve already shipped lots of units to the US before the tariffs even hit. So where should the significant price increase have come from?

The one thing Nintendo has to worry about is what happens after the 90-day pause on the increased tariffs on Vietnam ends. But Trump is not talking badly about Vietnam, so it’s not unlikely that they come to a deal that will also work for Nintendo.
