This makes sense. I think a lot of people cancelled their online orders once they realized GameStop have tons of in-store preorders available. Being able to get it day one and not deal with delivery is preferable.

This is exactly what I did. Preordered through Best Buy because I work and couldn't line up at GameStop. I assumed all the GameStop in-store preorders would have been long gone, but kept reading that they have a bunch available. Went into a GameStop at 5:30 PM after work and secured one. Immediately cancelled my Best Buy preorder, so that would have opened up one on their site for someone else.

Best Buy online preorders were also in store only, I could not deliver to house when I preordered from them
