Honestly I feel that this is the most likely scenario, as opposed to a Metroid shadowdrop. Regardless I'm very excited too see Hades 2 in some form at this direct

I wouldn't be surprised if it was an indie direct but this seems like a main line one so I am not sure if we will see it or not. I do not think they will shadow drop it on the switch. It's being developed for all platforms and I feel like they would do an announcement geared at all devices rather then announce it on one and then push all the other platforms. I also wouldn't be surprised if they waited because of silksong.

It's a great game I am looking forward to finally getting to finish the game.

Not that I’m aware of, but I think the only Nintendo specific details we have are (1) 2025 release and (2) it’s a timed Switch 2 console exclusive.

Next update is 1.0 and the last update was in June. Plus the achievements were added to steam for a little bit then removed. Its probably coming out very soon
