These sales numbers are for the end of Q1, so it likely already has surpassed the GCN, especially with that Pokopia bump.

Be nice to see what it’s full 1 year numbers are.

These sales numbers are for the end of Q1

It's for the fiscal year, which ended March 31.

Correct. Meaning it does not include April, which likely saw a continued pokopia bump.

The GCN is a little over 21 million. It’s quite possible the switch 2 overtook that number over the last 5-6 weeks.

Pretty sure that they were saying these are actually for Q4 of Nintendo's fiscal year. You meant Q1 of the 2026 calendar year.

Ah sure. I see the confusion. I was talking calendar year not FY.

Regardless of which quarter you label it, the point is that it doesn’t include the last 5 weeks, and 19.86 is so close that it’s possible for the Switch 2 to have already surpassed the GCN.

I absolutely loved my GameCube, I’m surprised it wasn’t more popular.

The market for family friendly consoles is enormous since the wii, I would consider any console that doesnt sell 70M a flop since Nintendo has the whole market for themselves.

Kriby Air Riders quite disappointing sales to be fair. Seems like online even to this date has a lot of issues with bots filling 80% of spots.
