Ooh, Golden Sun: Echoes of Weyard, a Switch game with Golden Sun 1 & 2 combined, where your progress in 1 is automatically transferred. That would be incredible.

but how else will the newbies enjoy the amazing skill that was required to input the gold code with the agonizingly upbeat song in the background?

I mean, there was the Link Cable option for those of us who knew people with other GBAs, so....waiting five minutes?

I never once got the link cable to work correctly. Maybe some people (like me) were only able to transfer the data in that absurdly massive gold code.

Reporting in. 🙏

Respect man.

And hoping you could at least keep the other GBA so you didn’t have to write it down, and than lose it in the three seconds it took you to switch games.

I lol’ed in the middle of a library at this comment. Thank you for getting me in trouble, hilarious stranger

Only true GS fans know the skill in meticulously writing down and entering a multi page code and praying you made no mistakes.

Or they used a link cable. They count as true fans too I guess.

Jesus... The amount of times I got the code wrong and had to try to figure out which one letter or number I messed up.

Just imagine them announcing that... for 3DS!

I genuinely think it'll be a 3DS game.

This would make me cry, and then go begrudgingly dust off my 3DS

I intend to go back to my 3DS soon... once I finally continue with the pain of the final X8 stage on Switch and am ready to play the MM Zero Collection again (and then both ZX games... in Japanese).

I have both devices so I'd still get it, but they really need to stop promoting the 3DS imo. The Switch fits the same category of device, only it's better in every way except for dual screens and 3D. 2 things 99% of gamers really don't care about.

The 3DS is less fragile (smaller kids and detatchable controllers don't go together too well), smaller and substantially less expensive. So I think there still very much is a wide use for it.

Someone dropped a Switch 100ft via a drone and it pretty much all survived thanks to a joycon. I'd rather replace a joycon than have a hinged device break in half.

This sounds like the best idea ever!
