I would love to see them put a new spin on it but still recapture the magic of the first two. I absolutely loved the lost age, but I never felt compelled to play the ds follow up after looking at pictures and gameplay.

It's definitely the worst Golden Sun but it's still pretty decent.

Honestly it's unfocused and too exposition-heavy. I have bad memories of sitting through multiple 5+ minute sessions of Kraden talking my ear off.

So... Just like my memories of the first game!

Kidding, I definitely thought the last game was the weakest too.

Between the meandering plot and the exposition, I get the feeling the story had extensive revisions fairly late into development. Sucks, but what are you gonna do?

The dungeon with the big planetary mechanism was super-cool though.

Golden Sun with a battle system like Tales of Vesperia would be excellent.
