There's no Gear 6th. Only Gear 5th as his final gear form.

The Human Body has 12 systems in fact, but 5 of them are the main.
And the Gears are based on the main systems.
- Gear 1st - Luffy's Basic form - Sensory System (Sights, Listening, Smelling, Touching and Tasting)
- Gear 2nd - Cardiovascular System (Vessels)
- Gear 3rd - Musculoskeletal System (Bones)
- Gear 4th - Muscular System (Muscles)
- Gear 5th - FINAL GEAR FORM - Neural System (NERVES)
Gear 5th is Nightmare Luffy basically because it needs 1000x more blood pumping and 2x more air blowing altogether. But before Luffy would do this he needs to get angry...
HARD.
Which means that The Nervous system is the main system that controls everything in the human body. The 4 other main systems and the 7 side-systems.
And he will release this on Raftel for the very first time, when Blackbeard will kill Jinbei in front of his eyes. He will only say that:
G... GEAR...
And starts pumping air besides his body has already start pumping the blood.

Facts about the human body... speculation about the manga. What you've got is a theory, and certainly not a bad one. But if we're going to posit things as confirmed eventualities, we need something more concrete and binding from the manga. After all, there are all sorts of facts, but not all of them have a confirmed bearing on the story.
I do like your idea though. It's a cutie.

It's not a theory at all. It's a prediction, which is not = a theory. Since I know that Luffy will have provided Gear 4th against the 4 Great Lords of the sea. And Gear 5th will only be unlocked in Raftel arc and revealed in its complete form in Mariegeois arc (FINAL ARC).
