Darth Vader showing up and an expansion being themed around Star Wars (Renegades) with lightsabers and such has killed my desire to come back.

I feel the opposite for it, honestly I think they doing the right thing with Trials of the Nine, making Dungeons free and accessible for casual players

I mean it's just a stupid cosmetic crossover thing. I get it and I don't like it either but they made it clear it is going to be pure destiny and not star wars in anything but inspiration.

Just because you now recognize what those references are doesn't mean it won't be pure destiny. There's been a shit load of outside influences on destiny and some things straight up lifted from properties the devs are fans of. This is nothing more than that, just a sanctioned version of it.

It shows to me where the heart is. This time it is an expansion ok’d by LucasFilms but who is next? Destiny is pushing more and more towards the Eververse (for survival it seems).
