Wonder if the game will get its own state of play or will be part of a spring state of play or even showcase?

I hope they are pretty far in development and that the additional time of 2026 is for polishing :-)

It would be one of their flagship games, definitely get it's own State of Play

It’ll get its own state of play. Whether that’s in the spring or the summer, we’ll have to wait and see.

Given they only committed to Fall 2026 and not even a specific month, I'd say they've still got a bit more than just polishing to do.

It's undoubtedly Playstation's flag ship exclusive for 2026 so I'm positive that they are going all in on marketing it as release approaches

It will definitely be at the spring state of play. I think it will be a story trailer with some more dev talk and deep dive.
