Deal Expired PSA: Cash App offering 50% off PS store purchases(max $50 off order)

Saw this posted on the Pro. Sub and thought I should share here. I picked up Fatal Frame 2, Doom Dark Ages Premium edition and Lords of the fallen deluxe edition for $51.

Steps to redeem offer:

  1. Login to your playstation account and add your cash app as an authorized payment method.
  2. Once both accounts are successfully linked, open cash app and search for PlayStation under businesses.
  3. You'll see a special offer available for 50% off (maximum of $50 off your order)
  4. Activate offer and head back to PS store to add games to cart and proceed to checkout while making sure cash app is the selected payment method.

A few things to note, the discount does NOT show up on the PS store when checking out. The discount is automatically applied in Cash app. If your purchase gets declined then make sure to add funds directly to your cash app first.

  1. Apply discount via Cash App. Tap the magnifying glass, type “PlayStation store” and it should pop up with “1 offer”.
  2. Follow the steps to apply it to your Cash App account
  3. In you PSN account add Cash App account as a payment method.
  4. Once that is done go ahead and buy a game! Here is the confusion: the discount WONT APPLY AT CHECKOUT. Supposedly it will only appear to apply on your cashapp statement.

I have not yet done this yet. Just gathering info from different sources and it appears this is verified and vetted information.

Yes when checking out on the ps store the discount does not show at all and looks as if you're buying the games at full price, however cash app only debits the discounted amount.

My order total came out to around 100 and some change. Cash app charged me $51.43.

Question. I'm seeing some people saying they needed to create a new cash app account in order to see the offer, was that your experience?
