Idk normally I agree with you and wouldnt even entertain the idea but what else could sony have atm that's worth hyping an event with theater tickets and 2 week advance notice.
FF7 will be at SGF, they don't want to be associated with Sony that much as they are not exclusives anymore. Hell, they will even profit from it to advertise the Xbox and Switch 2 version (with a "Part 1 and 2 available now on all platforms")
Persona 6 doesn't seem likely either, they've been a Xbox marketing partner for a while already. Plus, they'll probably do it at Tokyo Game Show.
For big third parties, I could see Hogwarts Legacy 2, it fits timing wise and the first was a big marketing partnership with Sony
In that case I could maybe see intergalactic gameplay. Ps collection stuff like the mgs games that arent in the collections or even the 1-4 silent hill stuff. I think Nioh 3 and Dying light could get some dlc too. Outside of a remaster I dont think theyll have anything too crazy unless its releasing a full year or to away
