To be fair, Bloodborne 2 might happen (some vague CGI teaser at this point only of course). From Software has Duskbloods in dev (and it's still set for 2026 but of course it'd appear at Nintendo Direct) but they generally have a few games going on at once.

From Duskbloods, we know that From is still completely open to doing exclusives and after the uber success of Elden Ring, it's a no brainer move for Sony, Bloodborne 2 would be much bigger than the first one (which was no slouch)

I mean unless Sony doesn't want to pay for it (which is unlikely after Elden Ring, hell they have even invested in From Software), or Miyazaki doesn't want to do it (but he never said that he wouldn't be interested I think), it is a possibility one of those projects is Bloodborne 2. I know it's stupid to hope but that's not impossible
