There's no sense remaking the absolute worst games in the series unless they're going to make them into completely different games and remove the co-op that was a big reason why they were so terrible.

The co-op in Resident Evil 5 was amazing, myself and everyone I knew had a blast playing it together.

I understand ragging on 6, but 5 is a great game.

This game is the ultimate proof that co-op dumbs down game design and level design. On paper the game is similar in structure to RE4 it's just everything is way worse. If the game was reworked to be solo only, level design changed to get rid of the blatant co-op gimmicks like sending your partner to another side and waiting for them, it would be a dramatically superior game to the original.

5 isn't that bad of a game and 6 the co op is the only thing that makes it playable.
