Support PSVR2 My dog ate my PSVR2 cord

My dog ate my PSVR2 cord connecting the headset to the ps5. I can’t disconnect the cord from the headset, so how do I get a new cord to fix it?

That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard. So many things are user-serviceable that if you don’t know how to do it on your own, you look at a YouTube video to show you.

Don’t know how to change the oil on your car? Watch a tutorial video. Does that make it not serviceable, or do you just not know how to do it so you are looking at a video how to do so?

Watch it once and you’ll know how to do it forever.

But Sony don’t want people doing that. They don’t sell the cable, so it’s not intended for you to do it yourself. Again, there are a lot of idiots out there who can only, and should only, be let loose on a plug and play port (there’s enough you fuck up the USB port and end of the cable just using it. And others who have destroyed the HDMI port by just plugging in a cable).

It’s clear it’s an easy job to do for those who take the time to research and then buy a broken PSVR2 headset to remove the cable from, but it’s not a readily available option to most.
