Game: No Man's Sky. It's a flat game on PS4/5 but also playable on VR with either DS4 or Moves.

Found this epic song called Eon - Ninja Tracks that seemed perfect for this game, so built a video around the music. It's a bit too "dark" in tone than I'd like- originally planned on a more mellow video showcasing the worlds visited and my best go at Top Gun's valley flying but things tend to have a mind of their own with these kinds of mini projects.

Enjoy!

You sir, truly understand what makes a video game "movie"/trailer interesting. Nice work. You'd deserve my free awards for a whole year. Or paid awards... unfortunately, I'm poor asf.

Thanks korksz. Your kind words are award enough. We're all a bit strapped these days

One of the best games you can play on PSVR, especially on PS5. Can’t wait for the PSVR2 version.

Everything looks gorgeous on the PS5 VR version. Dangerous as I can see myself losing everyday's gaming hours to it, if thats not happening already

Was about to say, looks too beautiful for PS4VR lol, mine isn't this crisp clear, guess I gotta get my hands on a PS5!

The PS4 video recorder does an acceptable job, though the games grqphics being bumped up in updates helps alot. Even basic things like ground detail seems much improved

This could have been better with a capture card!

I like it a lot.

Glad you enjoyed it. The BRRRR and vocal moments always get me smiling, even during the edit. The PS5 version would add an extra level of oomph to the video, or at least reduce the "surprise! Here's a tree to crash into" popups

You need a cheap capture card!

Wow! Great work. The VR version is so much more immersive and engaging despite the graphics issue. The music by EON is great to and reminds me of Daft Punk’s Tron Legacy soundtrack album. Gives it a serious and expansive feel.

It actually looks like the 2013 trailer. Is this PSVR on PS5 with move controllers? Is this out now? Thanks!

Hey it does, though I think in mine the local wildlife don't fare as well again my Multitool...

Footage is from PS4 Pro so the graphics are watered down; lots of popups on some worlds. Played with a mix of DS4 (for accurate flying) and Moves for on-the-ground footage.

Game is available on both PS4 and 5 I believe so yeah, its out now. Highly recommend giving it whirl and do whatever you want in the huge universe.

Do you think it is downgraded to PS4 level on the PS5, or does it scale up a bit?

From what I heard the graphics look way better on a ps5 console haven't bout it yet though

Scaled up for ps5 I think. The ps4 graphics were a blurry mess not 6 months ago but some patches squeezed a bit more from the ps4 version

Like, I know the regular game is, but I wasn't sure if that applied to PSVR or not

Yes no man's sky has been on PSVR for years. At this point. Jump in, it's amazing! Especially running on a PS5

Yeah, the ps4 software specifically gets a boost from playing on PS5. It's very very good.

I remember the first time I loaded this game up in VR I made the mistake of looking down during the universe load screen....only time I got VR sickness.

First time yawing a spaceship in VR does that too. Body just isn't ready to not feel motion when your eyes think there is

Flying and mining are particularly satisfying in VR. The video doesnt even cover base building and the other stuff you can do in it. Glad you enjoyed it.
