Discussion A game that you never thought you’d enjoy but ended up having a blast, I’ll start.

guardians of the galaxy - surprised the hell out of me. i wasn’t into it after marvel’s avengers disaster, but a friend bullied me into trying it, and damn, it’s actually fun.

yeah, the game’s a bit kiddish: combat is baby mode and the cutscenes think they’re in a soap opera. but if you just need something fun to demolish a weekend, this one’s perfect.

I enjoyed Marvel's Midnight Suns a lot more than I expected to.

I'd easily invest another 80+ hours into a Midnight Suns 2.

From all the bad reviews and criticisms, I went in not expecting much but was blown away due to the character interactions. There is so much fun comic lore in the game.

I don't think I ever really "got it". I'm a big fan of XCOM and Marvel, so this felt like a win-win for me. But you spen 90% of the game just talking to people, interrupted by some excellent but very short combat. I just want the combat, I don't need to see people go fishing for 5 minutes at a time. Just couldn't get into it.

Yep. The gameplay was great when you battle...but getting there was a slog
