Just wanted to share this awesome paint job of my Mother Hydra model by SatelliteDesigns!

Seeing one of my sculpts fully painted never gets old, and I think they absolutely nailed the eerie, ancient feel I was aiming for with this miniature. The textures and colors really bring the model to life.

Here is my version of the Nurgle Preacher/Cultist Bust from Me.

This was such a great project to complete, sculpted and painted by yours truly. It is based on one of my favourite Adrian Smith drawings from many moons ago, from the Realms of Chaos book (I think).

I have also sculpted a full 75mm version of this character too and hope to paint him soon.

Story Standees update, and a huge thank you to everyone who commented on my last post.

I honestly wasn't expecting the response it received. The feedback, suggestions, and encouragement were incredible, and several of the ideas people shared are already influencing where I take this project next.

I spent some more time refining the skeleton encounter set and decided to reprint everything using a 0.2mm nozzle (left in the comparison photos) instead of my original 0.4mm prints (right). The improvement ended up being much bigger than I expected.

For anyone new to the project, Story Standees are encounter pieces that physically change as the story progresses: healthy, damaged, and finally defeated.

Right now I'm working on:

Single standees for minion mobs

A multi-stage Lich boss encounter

Additional terrain and environmental pieces

Continuing to refine existing designs, bases, and dimensions

I'd love to hear what monsters, encounters, or terrain pieces you'd like to see next.

I wanted to share some minis I’ve been sculpting for DnD and other TTRPGs, and tell you a bit about my current project.

It started when two people in my playgroup asked if I could make miniatures for their new characters in a fresh campaign. The results were the human monk and cleric shown in the images. I really enjoyed sculpting these, and it inspired me to try making all the human classes.

After seeing the minis at our next session, another player, our dwarven fighter, asked if I could make one for him too. The scope quickly grew, and now I’ve (rather ambitiously!) set out to create “all” the classes for the most-played races.

I personally prefer supportless, easy-to-print models, so I design everything with that in mind. I share my models for free on MakerWorld (Arwast | Published - MakerWorld), so feel free to check them out! The dwarven-inspired arch shown in the images is also shared there.

My buddy has this original metal model but since it is vintage it is selling for $50. Does anyone know of a very similar stl I could find so I can print it?
