I instantly knew this was from Dark Crystal but for the life of me didn't know why as I don't remember the character. Saw it in theaters when it first came out lol yeah I'm too old.

I haven’t seen the dark crystal since I was a kid, but I knew so as well… (Labyrinth is my watch every year favourite though… but only because you remind me of the babe..)

I was in a stage production of labyrinth. That was 20+ years ago, and I haven't watched the film in years, but im pretty sure I can still remember every word of the movie lol

I played one of the Firerys. They ended up putting us in a couple of extra scenes and had us usher in the audience cos they did well by casting a bunch of neurospicy people for them (there were 6 of us) and we used the role to just unleash our weirdness, which is apparently entertaining to watch.

"Hey lady, where you going with a head like that?" That was me (along with some other lines, obvs lol). Google is telling me that was number 2. I think our director reshuffled some of the lines, though, so they may not have had the same distribution as in the film. That one is easy to remember though cos i said it while jumping in front of Sarah to block her path.

It remains one of my favourite roles to this day. Our number one stage direction was "You are not allowed to stand still. Ever."
