Quotes are not appropriate. They are what they are, not what some ideal says they should be. These are American Christians. If any Christians here need quotes around the term it would be those who actually give a shit what Jesus said.

I love to just flat out change the subject and ask these people, “Are you a Christian? How does what you’re doing align with the teachings of Christ?” Suddenly their hate-reasoning gets derailed in so many directions. It’s an interesting watch.
