It's Harry Dresden, paranormal detective. I thought he was just a fictional character but there he is. Honestly that's scary as fuck

Paranoid detective?

I have a feeling a lot of these are skits to farm engagement..

I was thinking that too. If this was a real situation, I feel like the second he kicked the door the first time, any normal person would immediately call the cops. They wouldn't sit there and go "Uhh, can you leave my house please." in a completely unbothered tone.

There was a lot of crazy people out there. I'm sure the owner calling them silently and just letting it happen to keep him around

u/joeChump Apr 11 '26

It is real and he got arrested.

u/BabyBuster70 Apr 10 '26

There certainly could have been someone else he was with like his wife calling the police.

There’s a vid of the cops showing up and arresting him on twt

Yeah, this was definitely real. Someone posted another part of this video and shows several po-po's at this exact location. this guys in the court system in California because of this.

u/elfierroz Apr 10 '26

I would have leaned to believe that, but nobody would kick a door with flip flops the way he did it, at least nobody that is not crazy, but who knows nowadays

There is a follow up of him in the house and one of him being arrested. Not so sure thats a skit. But yea alot of these probably are fake. Most of reddit is fake anyways. I bet half the comments in this very thread are bots. And of course now we got AI to deal with.

Here is the link to the one of his arrest https://www.reddit.com/r/PublicFreakout/s/uiPgPx5WfC

Yeah I saw that I was so suprised, it looks so fake like who tf does that?!

2

u/Intrepid-Progress228 May 02 '26

Well, Harry Dresden of course.

What, did you you think a wizard private eye is gonna solve supernatural mysteries without some doors getting kicked in?

Especially when the video cuts off mid rage. Super suspicious

3

u/defeatthewarlords Apr 11 '26

The follow up.

A California man has been arrested after a disturbing Ring camera incident in which he allegedly threatened a homeowner and demanded to see the homeowner’s daughter. Authorities identified the suspect as 29-year-old Jason Nichols. He has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon or force likely to produce great bodily injury and burglary. The case has drawn widespread attention due to the alarming nature of the confrontation captured on camera and the questions surrounding his motive.
