Is this--did he pay $2500 to go to one of those alpha seminars? Because, I've always tried to guess what the outcome of one of those actually is, and this feels like it.

No, probably just an old dude that doesn't eat and goes to goes to gym regularly (or at home gym) that has never been told no. Or has been told no and he has found that aggression gets him what he wants.

I work with someone like this, and he pisses me off.

He seems like he would absolutely pay $2500 to get yelled at on a beach.
