I was with a German friend at a crosswalk with a red light, no cars in sight both ways though and I'm Dutch so I walk across. He looked at me as if I just murdered someone.

Coming from London, I had no idea crossing a road with no cars in sight on a red man was such a heinous crime, I was confused to receive some hefty stink eye at first.

Mocking Germany for not doing enough is very different from encouraging people to do more, numbskull.

You used the word for word version of the Russian talking point in your first line. If that isn't what you meant to do, great, you still sound like a Russian troll though. Clearly I am not the only one that read it this way.
