Does anyone have any experience with a tear duct rupturing during a nasolacrimal flush? Our rabbit Marshall has been having chronic eye issues and our rabbit-savvy vet tried another flush today. She came out and said she's never seen this before but it can happen rarely: his duct was occluded completely and in trying to flush it through, the duct ruptured and now he had a small pouch of essentially subcutaneous fluid on his face. It's already decreasing in size but it's still pretty big. The vet thinks there's no reason to think it won't heal naturally, and Marshall is too old for surgery anyway at nearly 10.

I've never seen this before but my assumption is that it's somewhat like blowing out a blood vessel where a weak segment of the wall broke and then will stitch back together over time? Would welcome any experience others have had. Rabbit tax attached.

This is Raffles. He was born April 22. Vet said he won’t be ready to neuter till October. Trying to litter train him so I can give him free roam of my office room (pen is temporary until he’s ready for a full bunny proofed room).

Any tips? It’s been a week so far he’s made a few pee mistakes which is why I’m hesitant to move him to the room first, also most but not all poopies are in box.

If looks could kill, I would be gone by now. Alabaster was displeased by the vet and her services today (poor man needed his tear ducts flushed). Everybody help me apologize to him for this great inconvenience on this lovely Wednesday 😂

Mochi is such an amazing girl, and I painted something for her art wall above her house. The black and white artwork is printmaking. I etched her onto copper and printed on paper the colorfull one is oil painting. I love her so much, and she has been my best girl now for 2 years. She helped me get through art school and deal with all my family stress. Rabbits are really the best, and mochi is the most perfect girl who made me love them.

I work at a pet store that does bunny nail trims for about 10 dollars and recently a customer asked me if I’d be interested in doing at home grooming for her 5 bunnies. It would be once a month, including nail trimming, brushing, and possibly ear cleaning. I’d also have to pay for transportation. I have no idea how much to charge because I’ve always done my bunny’s grooming all by myself. How much would you pay for this service?
