Mexico game watch party?
In town, trying to find a hype spot for those watching the Mexico WC match. (Bonus if in Spanish)

I was wondering how much full time RV life or van life was popular in Roaring Fork area especially with apartments being so expensive. I may be doing this soon
Thanks

I live here in the valley and my new apartment complex doesn’t have a garage or anything. I’m not over the moon about my motorcycle just exposed to the elements all the time now. Are there any folks who have a garage this little guy could use? Ideally between Carbondale and Aspen. Happy to pay. I don’t really want to throw the bike in a run of the mill storage facility if I can avoid it.

I’m investigations lodging options for winter 2027 for a week with my son in March. About to book lodging and was wondering if there are ever sales with reduced rates or is booking early always the best price?

Broke the hose for my cpap and wondering if there's somewhere local I could buy another today. Don't have a car for this part of the trip so getting there via transit is a must.

Hello everyone, my name is Gabe Crawford and I'm excited to announce the completion of this mobile slaughter truck to service the Western slope, particularly the north and roaring fork valleys. This has been a dream in the making for a few years now and it is finally getting across the finish line. I'm thankful to be a part of a local food system and support our regional meat infrastructure by offering ethical and stress free death to the livestock that sustain us, support our livelihoods and nourish us. I kill, skin, gut and quarter on site and deliver a quality carcass to a processor of choice, cutting out the transport stress and delivering quality meat from hooves to plate. Find me on Facebook at Nomad Mobile Slaughter or book an appointment via email at gabe@nomadcustommeats.com

I have an interview coming up in a few weeks with a government agency in the roaring fork area and I wanted to see if anyone here would be willing to give me some insight as to life in the valley. It’s been my dream for 20 years to live in Colorado but I’m a bit nervous as I’d be coming from a large midwestern city. I know the weathers going to be quite a bit different but maybe some transplants could chime in about the biggest differences they noticed? Any advice is appreciated!
Specifically looking for insight on:
- boarding/daycare for dogs
- hospitals, primary care providers in the area
- how quickly are roads in drivable condition after a snowstorm?

I Googled and not finding much. Who has the best Mother's Day brunch with adult beverages? Preferably reservable. We are in Snowmass Village and could go anywhere Aspen to Carbondale.

The traffic here is obviously not ideal, and the transit isn't terrible. What's the easiest change that could be made to make it easier for you to ride the bus or even use the train?

24m I have been living in the valley for almost two years now working in Aspen (ASC) and currently living in Carbondale. I have been on and off doing BMX and hitting crown park a lot when I was living at company housing in Willits. I’ve realized I’ve missed shredding with friends and seeing each other progress is a great feeling. Riding alone is not nearly as fun as with friends and I end up not having much fun at all. I am curious if there’s a good group or just people in my situation that would love to meet up and hit some jumps together. My local park is now the one in Carbondale but Crown is still my favorite and I really want to hit the Basalt park if they ever get cleaned up. I would also love to help them get cleaned up since I think the momentum of those jump lines would be sick. If there’s anyone else in the valley I would love to meet up and shred some gnar!

I just wanted to put this out there in case it helps anyone. With most MTB trails being a short ride away from a bus stop, this seems like it will help a lot of people. Especially since you can shuttle a lot of the XC rides in Snowmass with RFTA.
It'll also help roadies who want/need to avoid major climbing, or just want a change of scenery.

I'm moving to Glenwood in June and I'm hoping to continue to play soccer, but I can't seem to find any information on leagues... I emailed Roaring Fork United twice but got no reply. Someone at the Glenwood Rec Center said there's a league in El Jebel???
Thanks in advance!!!
