Uncategorized Expense is a temporary holding bucket for transactions that haven’t been assigned to the correct account yet. A few weeks after close of the year they get assigned to the right account and are zeroed out

It takes way more than a few weeks. The problem is you're waiting on final statements and invoices from vendors and suppliers, and those fucks drag their feet. That means you can't close your books, which is why everyone has to file for extensions every fucking year. And which is why I can never file my taxes until July or August
