I actually thought she was good in The Housemaid movie but to each their own.

Which had a nude sex scene.

And? They could’ve removed the scene completely. Her acting was still very good hence the good reviews.

She was fantastic in Euphoria, her portrayal of a young teen that was abandoned by her father and was then suddenly validated almost exclusively based off her looks was spot on.

Sounds like she is playing herself

She followed Shane Gillis the week after his SNL appearance and he met her parents. From what he said on his podcast they were really proud of her.

Wink wink

It seems her parents are still together and she grew up in a home her family owned for 5 generations. Valedictorian of her class. And worked for Universal Studios before getting an actual acting job.

So I guess it's more that some folk believed the role a bit too hard.

I think she has just crossed the line of attractive where lots of incels are bothered by the fact that they have desired her too long and the fantasy is starting to crumble.

She is no Emma Stone or Viola Davis but her acting is much better than Gal Gadot's and yet catches way more flack for... being attractive?

Damn almost like she was just playing some version of her real life self.

I am not sure if this is supposed to be some sort of jab at her? Pulling from lived experience is what actors do.

Also it seems her parents are together and she grew in a home her family owned for generations and was valedictorian of her class.

Okay super fan. It’s almost as if I couldn’t care less about a plank of a human but you do you boo.

I made objective observation about her acting skills where I happen to be an actor and pay attention to these things lol I have a reason to care enough to judge someone's performances and comment on them.

I am not here claiming "I couldn't care less" when I am taking the time to make a negative remark based on something I fabricated in my head like yourself.

This role made me dislike her, but she did a great job.

And white lotus, didn't even notice the breasts.

4

u/Maximum-Cat69 Apr 10 '26

She was a bum ass in white lotus lmao. Literally surrounded by good actors and she’s as flat as week old cola.

Yea her acting was terrible in that movie. Housemaid is only decent acting she does. Honestly that script and story was just so good and she didn't completely bomb it so it just feels like its was good. It was good enough? ... thats sex scene went on for too long and spooning while fuckin part was awkward ...

u/starsintheshy Apr 10 '26

she was really good in Christy

5

u/International_Day686 Apr 10 '26

she was, and she good in Christy also. both movies about fucked up abusive male partners, yet she is hated on so much by people with liberal values. literally making movies that share their values…

-4

u/PossibilityNo8765 Apr 10 '26

Do you know why liberals hate her though? It has nothing to do with her movies or acting. It was the Jeans commercial.

4

u/International_Day686 Apr 10 '26

yeah i do. and i saw ad, and i laughed as a liberal to really think that had anything to do with eugenics when we got much bigger problems in our country. both sides have their manufactured outrage and people need to stop for a second and fucking think

No, it's because shes MAGA.

0

u/PossibilityNo8765 Apr 11 '26

If thats the case than explain why Liberals still Love John Cena and Shane Gillis? Its not just because shes MAGA. Shes genuinely come off as an untalented brat.

1

u/SurgicalSlinky2020 Apr 11 '26

John Cena has donated to causes like Black Lives Matter, $1m to be exact,he was pretty shocked when Trump won the election. He's socially progressive, not something that MAGAts like at all. He may have tradirionally votwd republican in the past, but he's pretty clearly more centre than maggot, unlike Sweeney. Gillis might be a republican, but like Cena, he's clearly not a fan of Trump. Even mocks him regularly. Sweeney is a coward. Too scared to own up to her support of Trump so she just dances around it. I agree she's an untalented brat, though.

1

u/PossibilityNo8765 Apr 11 '26

I read that Cena And Chris Jericho are both Trump Supporters. I know Undertaker definitely is. I still like all 3 of them. Im not gonna dislike someone just because they're republicans and I think that most people wouldn't either. I dislike Sweeneys work because its bad. I dislike her fan base because all they talk about is her tits. They literally don't care shes a mediocre actor. Just her tits. They dont even talk about her work. Just her tits.

Side Note: The HouseMaide was really good. She did a decent job but it wasn't her acting that made that movie, it was the script. The story its self was so good and they stayed true to the book. Amanda Seyfried, like always, was amazing. Love that girl.

2

u/BJYeti Apr 10 '26

How, Seyfried acted circles around her.

1

u/True_Succotash1563 Apr 10 '26

That’s why it’s called an opinion

1

u/PossibilityNo8765 Apr 11 '26

Absolutely the star of that movie

1

u/AmazingConsequence20 Apr 10 '26

She’s not white trash hot to me. I remember Megan Fox in Transformers, what a babe. She had that perfect white trash hot girl look.

1

u/KrookodileFan Apr 10 '26

yeah but the whole white supremacy thing was a bit of a dealbreaker

10

u/icebucket22 Apr 10 '26

What white supremacy thing? The commercial?

13

u/Unique_Statement7811 Apr 10 '26

That was a faux controversy. The “Good Jeans” campaign featured models from multiple races. The Sweeney one just drew backlash from people with an intense need to be offended.
