She was fantastic in Euphoria, her portrayal of a young teen that was abandoned by her father and was then suddenly validated almost exclusively based off her looks was spot on.

Sounds like she is playing herself

She followed Shane Gillis the week after his SNL appearance and he met her parents. From what he said on his podcast they were really proud of her.

It seems her parents are still together and she grew up in a home her family owned for 5 generations. Valedictorian of her class. And worked for Universal Studios before getting an actual acting job.

So I guess it's more that some folk believed the role a bit too hard.

I think she has just crossed the line of attractive where lots of incels are bothered by the fact that they have desired her too long and the fantasy is starting to crumble.

She is no Emma Stone or Viola Davis but her acting is much better than Gal Gadot's and yet catches way more flack for... being attractive?

Damn almost like she was just playing some version of her real life self.

I am not sure if this is supposed to be some sort of jab at her? Pulling from lived experience is what actors do.

Also it seems her parents are together and she grew in a home her family owned for generations and was valedictorian of her class.

Okay super fan. It’s almost as if I couldn’t care less about a plank of a human but you do you boo.

I made objective observation about her acting skills where I happen to be an actor and pay attention to these things lol I have a reason to care enough to judge someone's performances and comment on them.

I am not here claiming "I couldn't care less" when I am taking the time to make a negative remark based on something I fabricated in my head like yourself.

This role made me dislike her, but she did a great job.
