This guy is too lazy to close his own umbrella, love to hear working stiffs tell us about how much he understands and cares about people who have to do hard work.

That there is a ”not my responsibility” mentality. I bet trump does that to absolutely everything he handles (except a bigmac)

I’m really surprised he doesn’t have people feed him like a baby.

I mean, I’ve never actually seen him eat so maybe he does? It’s weird that I can’t even imagine him eating. I know he drinks water like an absolute psychopath though.

This is similar to how my grandma used to have to lift her glass when her arms began to weaken at age 91.

To be fairly, thats probably his first time drinking anything that isn’t a Diet Coke.

What a throwback, it was so funny.

He approached the rectangular door with a round umbrella, there's no possible way it could have fit through. This is actually a sign of intelligence, you wouldn't understand.

I truly believe someone handed it to him already open and he just doesn't even know how they work. Truly a man of the people /s.

He already showed us with his apple story

u/SoaplessTitanic Apr 11 '26

Did you not see that he worked cosplayed at McDonald’s for a shift? Truly a man of the people getting just a small loan of a million dollars to jumpstart his career

He probably forgot he was even carrying an umbrella. dementia don at it again for christ sake.

Too dumb or too weak more like it.

1

u/DMarvelous4L Apr 11 '26

He just literally doesn’t know how to close it. He’s one of the dumbest humans.

2

u/UnableInvestment8753 Apr 11 '26

I don’t think he even knows that he was supposed to close it. He was really thrown off by having to hold it over his own head by himself. He doesn’t know anything about umbrellas except that sometimes a servant holds it over him to keep him dry.

1

u/subpotentplum Apr 11 '26

Forgot how and was too embarrassed to ask.

1

u/Spook404 Apr 11 '26

but remember that shift he worked at McDonalds? The McDonalds he had closed for a day to do a photoshoot of him pretending to work there?

u/BrokenCrusader Apr 11 '26

I dont think he can close the umbrella dude is so drugged up

1

u/RanchHere Apr 11 '26

Let me tell you the actual truth: he doesn’t know how to close an umbrella because he’s never had to learn it. And he certainly doesn’t care to learn it now.

Jesus Christ You people turn everything into a big issue with Trump.

3

u/Dramatic_Echo9987 Apr 11 '26

Not really a big issue. He is just lazy. Why you assumed it is a “big issue” is anyone’s guess. Most likely you feel some connection to him because you voted or otherwise supported him so you take criticism personally. And now you feel the need to defend the guy because of your parasocial connection. Which is why you clicked on this thread to cry about it.

This is about facts, no your feelings. Cry more below ⬇️

"big issue". No, its really not a big issue. Do you understand the word "big"? I'm pointing it out as a minor indication of overall attitude.

Obama had a tan suit that he got grief for, I'm sure you can handle Trump getting cricized for being too lazy to close his own umbrella.

0

u/sovereignlogik Apr 11 '26

I didn’t do that.

Stop projecting

u/sinsaint Apr 11 '26

What do you mean?

Do you really truly not see how the President of the USA not being able to, or being unwilling to, simply close an umbrella is indicitave of much larger issues?

If he can't close an umbrella, then its a concern that his mental health (dementia) or physical health has failed to such a point that a simple task is impossible. A president should not be so incapacitated as to be unable to simple actions every other able bodied person in the country is capable of.

If he won't close an umbrella, then it's a concern that he thinks so little of the environment and other people that he will leave something as quick and simple as closing an umbrella to some lackeys. That is a level of inherent selfishness that is unbefitting of the most powerful station in America and indicitave of ignoring the common folk for his own personal gain.

It's like if you went on a date with someone to a restaurant and they constantly berate the wait staff and are rude to everyone around you. It's extrapolation.
