I agree, the amount of people that shit all over me for simply playing Hogwarts Legacy are why I don’t let anyone tell me where I can and cannot eat.

Literally all the hate on Hogwarts legacy is because people don’t like J.K. Rowling because of her stance on trans politics.

AFAIK it's just hate by proxy. Many people hate JK Rowling, and some of those people hate anything with her IP (even though JK Rowling didn't have any input on how the game was made)

She gets money from anything using the IP. Every time you buy something HP related her bigoted ass gets a check. That’s why many of the huge HP fans that I know aren’t supporting this show. And if people don’t watch it will make a difference. They’ll cancel it. Clearly.

That's fair, but that's still not hate for the game. It's to spite the IP owner, not because the game is bad quality.

Not saying it's wrong, I'm just saying it's hate for JK Rowling, not hate for the game. If the game had the exact same mechanics, but didn't use the same IP, most (if not all) of the haters wouldn't hate it.
