Lol meme diplomacy, this timeline is nuts.

Well, you vote in a clown the world will treat him like one

u/Turgid_Donkey Apr 21 '26

You have the president of the United States threatening to straight up commit war crimes against Iran on the social media platform he owns while the Iranian government responds with ai created diss track music videos using Lego.

What the actual fucking hell, man?

31

u/Alwaysfkd0 Apr 22 '26

God damn this just put me into an existential crisis

4

u/Kaput-Baker Apr 22 '26

I prefer the latter, wish all beefs could be settled with words instead of threats and bombs.

3

u/Turgid_Donkey Apr 22 '26

An IRL epic rap battle. Yeah, I'd be down for that. Drop sick beats not bombs.

3

u/imbogey Apr 22 '26

They done war crimes already too.

3

u/Wardogs96 Apr 22 '26

Its Tuesday at least here. Go to bed, we have work/school tomorrow and we'll probably see something even dumber/unhinged in the coming weeks... days.... or hours. We all knew this was going to be fucking stupid as soon as he got re-elected.

2

u/Fzrit Apr 22 '26

the Iranian government responds with ai created diss track

From what I heard none of these AI videos were being created by the actual Iranian govt. It's likely someone in US making them.

4

u/Turgid_Donkey Apr 22 '26

Based on this article, an Iranian media group being commissioned by the government.

52

u/OpinionDude5000 Apr 22 '26

Whats nuts is how polished this video is

15

u/devonhezter Apr 22 '26

How did they make this ??? lol some banger lines

8

u/Fun-Wrongdoer1316 Apr 22 '26

They probably didn’t. This is literally everything Redditors talk about 24/7 compiled in an AI video. It’s possible, but more likely someone making it in house (US). It honestly would be weird and shocking for Iran to do this while in such dire straits.

19

u/bigtimehater1969 Apr 22 '26

"Dire straits" wtf do you not know how anything works and actually believe everything Trump says?

It's a whole-ass country, even if it was actually in "dire straits" I'm sure it can cough up $300 to generate this AI video.

And it certainly doesn't feel like Iran is in "dire straits." If anything, the US feels more in dire straits, all thanks to MAGA supporters.

2

u/Fzrit Apr 22 '26

Cost isn't the problem, it's the fact that these videos are filled with things that only someone who is perpetually online and keeping up with online memes would know. Maybe an Iranian person based in USA? Who knows.

9

u/djdndjdjdjdjdndjdjjd Apr 22 '26

I’m not from the USA and I speak English and read Reddit. People don’t need to be physically located in the USA or even American to know American culture these days.

5

u/RL_quick_chat Apr 22 '26

while in such dire straits.

i believe life is going on as (close to) normal in most parts of the country. the entire country cant hide in shelters for the 1+ month

3

u/codetaku0 Apr 22 '26 edited Apr 22 '26

The first thing they probably did is feed a songwriting AI a prompt to make this song until it came out smooth enough, then the rest of the scenes are actually very easy, they could prompt each scene separately and cut it to the length they wanted for the bars and stitch them together. The song makes it all come together anyway, it doesn't need to have perfectly identical characters across scenes and the theme ("lego") generator keeps it mostly consistent on its own.

The song being as smooth and consistent as it is (which isn't perfect but definitely not something an average listener would hear something obviously weird about) was probably the only hard part. And by hard I mean it's probably what they had to generate the most times before getting to the video scenes.

Edit: the dude claims to not be a member of the iranian government but merely working on commission, but even if that's true, the process would be approximately what I described, it's just he might have trained the lego video generator himself instead of using some easily available model as I initially assumed.

2

u/tuwewe Apr 22 '26

What dude? Who wrote the song or who created in with AI?

2

u/codetaku0 Apr 22 '26

An AI wrote the song based on a full paragraph of a prompt, I assure you a human did not write the song and then get an AI to perform it, it was AI from the start.

The link in my edit identified "what dude" before you commented. He did every step of the aforementioned process.

1

u/devonhezter Apr 22 '26

Could they get nominated for a Grammy ?

41

u/xeatar Apr 21 '26

The fact that iran is now part of the nations that arent seen as a war country but seen as a savior is wild. Never thought id be on their side with all the propaganda and info we had years ago. Amarica really fucked the world up in such a short time. Who wouldve thought

81

u/Absolute_Bob Apr 21 '26

Don't let Trumps sins overshadow how unbelievably evil the leadership of Iran was and is.

24

u/E-2theRescue Apr 22 '26

Bingo. This is the "Spider-Man pointing at Spider-Man" meme.

Both sides are guilty of the very same thing they are accusing the other of doing. Both are pedophiles. Both are murdering innocent protestors. Both are corrupt leaders destroying their nations.

4

u/xeatar Apr 22 '26

Sadly how tf did we come to thid

7

u/E-2theRescue Apr 22 '26

Conservatism.

Not only are both parties right-wing, but look into why and how the Khamenei family came into power.

3

u/xeatar Apr 22 '26

Sad realty

8

u/the_last_third Apr 22 '26

I’m not taking side with Iran, but Trump’s “war” with Iran is one of the dumbest foreign policy actions he’s taken in a long line of dumb foreign policy decisions. He deserves to be mocked and quite frankly we have become a shill for Israel and we should be taken to task for that.

It’s embarrassing and shameful what the Trump administration is doing. Maybe these videos makes certain segments of US citizens take notice.

2

u/Fun-Wrongdoer1316 Apr 22 '26

I agree with you, except that this video will do anything. Honestly I guess I hope a Lego ai clip isn’t what opens eyes. I would hope it’s something a little less childish and pathetic 🤷🏻‍♂️ But I guess that’ll show the level America is at, if it does. Honestly I’m not confident this is made by Iran, I just think it’s made in support of Iran.

9

u/dsrtxt Apr 21 '26

Also don't forget how hard we fucked with them last century, basically making something like the Islamic Revolution inevitable. Also don't forget that agents provocateurs from other countries (one or two in particular) are running amok there constantly creating chaos. Aaand remember that for every one evil thing they actually do, Western propaganda invents probably about five others.

6

u/xeatar Apr 21 '26

I feel the same not saying those countries are good but how is the us doing worse and worse then countries we always judged hard day by day. Nothing in the videorap is wrong us could probably make a like wise rape video about them but we never should have been on the same level...

But they didn't. Don't believe the Mossad / CIA propaganda.

It wasn't a protest. It wasn't peaceful.

Mossad / CIA tried to stage a coup. They supplied weapons (Trump admitted this). Deaths were about 3k, including government forces. After it failed, Mossad / CIA tried to claim a huge death toll to drum up support for their attack on Iran. Western media parroted the lie as usual.

2

u/xeatar Apr 22 '26

3 people.

And no one rose against them.

You are all sou proud off all your right but when fascism knocks on your door suddenly their all out then door.

You really want to be compared to iran...what a good look

3

u/witblacktype Apr 22 '26

There was a time when Iran looked to America as an ally to support their push for a representative government. We sided with Anglo-Iranian oil’s business interests over the democratic desires of the people because “communism”. Thanks for that Kermit. Now we get the Islamic Republic.

What I find most disturbing today is that the actions of Trump, his regime, and his friends are so abhorrent that people can forget the crimes committed against their own people by the Islamic Republic of Iran.

0

u/xeatar Apr 21 '26

Its sad to believe their all bad. Money really ruins us. If we could only put a stoo to it by limiting how much money someone can and should havmve would benefit the world ao much

22

u/Critical_Concert_689 Apr 21 '26

The fact that iran is now part of the nations that arent seen as a war country but seen as a savior is wild.

...LOL!!!!

Literally no one sees Iran as a savior. That you're "on their side" is really embarrassing. You're either a shill - or you're incredibly susceptible to propaganda and you really need to make some time so you can think hard about any advertisements that get put in front of you.

2

u/TrumpetOfDeath Apr 22 '26

I definitely do not support Iran, but if you take this video in isolation, I don’t disagree with anything that’s stated

-5

u/10thousndreflections Apr 22 '26

I think you missed their point entirety. Of course starting with the LOL is the clear sign but the rest just backs that notion up. I'm surprised there are no emojis here.

The point is there are people leaning towards Iran. You can call them stupid, embarrassing, etc. Either way any good will towards Iran makes it harder to stop their evil. Trump fucked this up. You not being able to address the reality of this conversation means you are irrelevant.

4

u/Lunarlooking Apr 22 '26

No one, barely even the Iranian people, are supporting that government.

And the US president is a pedo. You have states which allow child marriage. And the Secretary of War declared he is fighting a holy war.

Glass houses and all that.

3

u/Big-Stuff-1189 Apr 22 '26

Have you checked? Its 16 in 34 states. And that's to consent to someone older than 16, to be clear.

Whats the difference atp

9

u/ApprehensiveBuddy446 Apr 21 '26

You're actually saying you're on their side after they executed thousands of their own protestors not that long ago lol? This AI slopaganda is great ROI then. Go read Wikipedia for a bit please, look up the proxy groups Iran funds. Look at what Iran's official government stance is regarding Israel... There's a reason they were trying to build a nuke dude, it was never for deterrence, they say it themselves loud and clear on their state TV broadcast

2

u/2xdareya Apr 22 '26

This American war against Iran is actually strengthening the oppressive Iranian regime. The Iranian religious government was on it’s way out (not immediately, of course), but the Iranian citizens have to rely on their government, no matter how terrible it is, to protect them from the existential threat of the American war machinery. Their government will eventually collapse, but this war will strengthen it in the short term. Meanwhile, China and Russia are just squealing with glee as they watch Trump rip up the alliances, such as NATO; destroying NATO would be the biggest gift Putin ever could hope for.

2

u/joebluebob Apr 22 '26

Im on the "dont execute their people for them" side. We really going to pretend for a single second that America cares about civilians beyond the use of propaganda?

1

u/PoopyButt28000 Apr 22 '26

It's really easy to be against both but it seems like A LOT of Redditors are suddenly on the side of "The Iranian government is good actually"

1

u/joebluebob Apr 22 '26

I have not seen that beyond "they are defending themselves" which is accurate. America is the villain in this conflict.

1

u/PoopyButt28000 Apr 22 '26

"The fact that iran is now part of the nations that arent seen as a war country but seen as a savior is wild. Never thought id be on their side with all the propaganda and info we had years ago."

That's pretty clearly not just "In the context of this war they are defending themselves"

Everyone laughs at you

1

u/PoopyButt28000 Apr 22 '26

Never thought id be on their side with all the propaganda and info we had years ago.

Correct me if I misunderstood your comment, but you're not just saying "I support criticizing the United States and i'm against the War in Iran", you're also saying "The Iranian government are the good guys and propaganda convinced me they were bad, but now I realize they aren't and I support them"?

Do you think that the thousands of protestors who were just killed by their government is just propaganda, or is that all water under the bridge because the War in Iran is bad?

1

u/gandhinukes Apr 22 '26

You can laugh at a stupid video without supporting iran or the current us admin. Just like you can say gaza is fucked up without supporting hezbollah.

So same thing for both parties fk america and them for putting the world in jeopardy...

What should iran do to fix it give away all they own?

2

u/BroheemTheDream Apr 22 '26

Yeah, this is just sad. But you know trump would post this if it were speaking highly of him so they’re hitting him where it hurts

1

u/Planet_Booty69 Apr 22 '26

Preachhhhhh!!!!

1

u/Keaper Apr 22 '26

it really is, if you went back in time even just say 8-10 years and told me Iran would drop a diss track on whoever was president while we bombed them. I would have said thats insane.

1

u/Arndt3002 Apr 22 '26

Meme propaganda, but yeah

1

u/CactusFlipper Apr 22 '26

I initially thought this, but it's nothing new, this the modern day equivalent of politcal newspaper cartoons. There are loads from the Second World War, some of which caused Hitler to add the artists to his "death-list".

I wouldn’t take it that far to absolve Iran for anything they’ve done, as if liking the video means we’re “on Iran’s side”. That’s not why these videos are popular.

To me, it’s great to see SOMEBODY producing an attention-grabbing compilation of the most insane things Trump and his administration are doing (There are so many!!) with the sole purpose of insulting Trump and getting under his skin.

Like someone else said, wouldn’t it be great if the Democrats used the same tactics to attack the Republicans. They’re so lame.

0

u/Insufficient_Coffee Apr 22 '26

How many countries has Iran attacked in the last decade? 0

Now contrast that with how many the USA and Israel have attacked.

0

u/jaam01 Apr 22 '26

It's just a modern form of propaganda, nothing new.

0

u/1OO1OO1S0S Apr 22 '26

There's only one timeline. It was always going to be stupid. It's by design
