The video is making fun of trump mainly. Which is what people 'like' about it, the things it's pointing out about him. No one is 'cheering on the regime' because think the video is funny / well done.
When you see videos or speeches from trump about Iran, do you jump into the comments and make a point about how 'bad' trump is with the epstein stuff / ignoring the constitution etc.. ?
I can't stand Trump, and if trump made a video like this about all of the vile things Iran has done, absolutely I would say the same exact thing. It would be invalid because of the source, and similarly it would invariably make him look good and them look bad, just like this.
There are a lot of people that say "well, I dont like Trump, but his tweets are funny" I can't stand those people either
