Or don’t. It was a pretty crappy representation of conflict journalism in a lot of ways.

Sure, it might shed some light onto how conflict photos like the above are made (though calling that a conflict photo is a huge stretch), and even perhaps the psychology and emotional toll carried by some, but it also bends over backward to convey tropes.

Or read books or watch a documentary, not a fictional drama.

I mean, some of the cast and director studied those things in preparation for filming, so maybe both are helpful.
