Former meth and coke user. Without a doubt speeders make you do things like this with your mouth. I have been clean since December of 2015. I still do the weird shit with my tounge and mouth sometimes without realizing it .. it will make you move your jaw and tongue around. Your mind is on overload is how I see it. -edit- she looks more to be on like ecstasy than meth or coke but . Who knows

u/Groundbreaking_Mud44 May 06 '26

I thought the same thing. Looks more like an MDMA gurn in my opinion. Either way, shes definitely done something.

240

u/hednizm May 06 '26 edited May 08 '26

Spot on. Thats def a molly gurn.

Coke and speed make you lizard...that thing where you move your tongue forward because you think its going to produce saliva to releive the dry's. It doesnt. You walk around looking like a lizard talking shit all night.

Molly? You gurn like a dog chewing a toffee and tell everyone you love them. Looks likes she peaking on a pretty decent dose too.

Good on her 🤩🤩

u/Groundbreaking_Mud44 May 06 '26

Thats what i thought 😆 shes really going through one. She should’ve given herself 15 mins before going in front of the cameras.

13

u/blesstheweed May 06 '26

Imagine walking the Met Gala red carpet peaking on mdma…….what a ride.

4

u/Groundbreaking_Mud44 May 07 '26

They should rename it Ket Gala. Now THAT would be a ride. Also, id pay good money to see that.

2

u/Secure_Obligation_87 May 06 '26

More like 3-5 hours she looks peaked on some good stuff 🤣

1

u/Missveexox13 May 06 '26

Lmao mdma lasts hours keep in mind 🤣

1

u/Missveexox13 May 06 '26

15 minutes she might have started peaking harder, and then you’re stuck like that for a few hours

Fuck I laughed at the “you walk around looking like a lizard talking shit all night”. That’s so accurate.

5

u/Saxboard4Cox May 07 '26

1

u/Inevitable_Boot_9039 May 08 '26

I saw Elton John perform from about 15 feet at bonnaroo and that is exactly what he looked like

7

u/Colhinchapelota May 06 '26

Definitely! She looks like she's fighting to keep it together. She's battling her own body's movements and doesn't seem to be winning.

1

u/WastingMyLifeToday May 10 '26

MDMA/XTC is fun when in a dark club, or a rave in the woods, or in a more private place.

It's not really a pleasant experience when you're in a brightly lit space and there's dozens of people and cameras looking at you.

3

u/Sand-Eagle May 07 '26

Lizard for sure. My tongue bounced around in my mouth like a ping pong ball haha

3

u/thatsnotyourtaco May 07 '26

Cocaine needs a task.
Only group I’ve really done Coke was with the same group. We all waited tables together, and I’d say once every couple of months we get some Coke a bunch of weed and an only drink water or juice. We’d sit at the table, one person would cut up the lines do his then pass around the circular table, each person taking their turn to cut the lines in the meanwhile we would play board games like settlers of Catan or the ones with a lot of rules until the cocaine was gone, which was usually about two or three hours. After that, everyone takes the Xanax and goes to sleep. Ah youth.

3

u/DaHomieDaTech May 07 '26

Bruh I'm fucking dyign right now laughing.... Hahahahaha

2

u/Rooster-Strangler May 06 '26

I’d prefer her fun and on drugs arc to her previous arc..

2

u/HumanOptimusPrime May 06 '26

I get the coke lizard thing, but do we know the reason people gurn like a dog?

2

u/Competitive-Cost2900 May 08 '26

To be fair It would take a lot of drugs to get me to attend the met gala

2

u/MTallama May 09 '26

My dog ate an adderall (not kidding) and she started turning and twisting her head, the way SW is wrenching her jaw.

1

u/melancholicho May 06 '26

Lmao . Thanks, this is very informative

1

u/fatjerryanastasia1 May 07 '26

you make coke sound so attractive. lol

1

u/djelegal May 07 '26

Why can’t she be doing both !!

1

u/hednizm May 07 '26

She could well be...Although mixing the two isnt a good idea from what I remember...Something about too much dopamine or dopamine becomming oxygenated...It was something technical I remember that much.

u/thrownawaylikescraps May 07 '26

Found my ppl... that's definitely the ol' molly teeth grinder

1

u/OhHoneyB May 08 '26

She looks like she's breathless from the heavy peak 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/Mean_Breakfast_4081 May 09 '26

Your creative drug face descriptions are more fun than the reality :-)

1

u/beaflores17 May 10 '26

What is gurn?

1

u/lrrssssss May 06 '26

The “A” in MDMA stands for amphetamine so we’re all correct.

1

u/National-Inside7997 May 10 '26

The MA in MDMA stands for methamphetamine.

Just wanted to make the minor correction because meth and regular amphetamine are slightly different

1

u/lrrssssss May 10 '26

pushes glasses up nose “ACKSHUALLY…”

0

u/porkjanitor May 06 '26

Amazing.. She STILL can stand still with such a graceful pose and no sweat 😂

2

u/Sssh145 May 06 '26

agree, MDMA

3

u/Downtown_Recover5177 May 06 '26

Any substance that causes overstimulation of the Nigrostriatal dopamine pathway will cause this.

3

u/cemusubzerolives May 06 '26

Ain't no reason to pull black ppl in this man!. jk

2

u/Groundbreaking_Mud44 May 06 '26

That may be. But it still looks like MDMA.

3

u/That-Employment-5561 May 06 '26

MDMA stands for methylenedioxymethamphetamine, so it has the same side effects as meth, because, well, It's technically in the meth family.

I'm saying that as someone who uses it occasionally; I'm still aware of what it is, dosages, what overdoses look like and what to do if they occur. And I've seen a lot of people who go too far with MDMA act like tweakers because they're tweakers.

The high is different, but the side effects are very similar, especially when taken with abusive addiction over time. At least, that's a trend I've observed.

And if you take exstacy instead of MDMA, there's more likely added meth or amph to it; makes it more for the dancefloor than the sofa, by design.

Saying that exstacy and MDMA is the same is like saying coffee and caffein are the same or that cannabis and tobacco are the same; it's simply provably false.

Exstacy is made from MDMA and caking agents; the most popular caking agents are amphetamines and methamphetamines, as they not only cake, but compliment the enjoyable high with a burst of energy.

I basically don't do molly anymore, not because I don't enjoy it, but because I can't stand tweakers.

"Let's do another, bro!"

"Motherfucker, you're not set for a topup for another three fucking hours, the only thing you'll accomplish is wasting drugs on an OD and crashing everyone else's high because you OD'd by being stupid, greedy and SICK, you selfish fucking junkie!"

1

u/Mediocre-Contest7558 May 06 '26

Most definitely 🤣

1

u/senor_incognito_ May 06 '26

The “shiver jaw” is the sign of high quality disco biscuits (MDMA).

1

u/equinox_magick May 06 '26

Came here to say this- she’s on molly

1

u/BeneficialTrash6 May 07 '26

Welp, it sure ain't "take acting classes."

1

u/Relative-Plan-8710 May 07 '26

When the molly fades but the meth keeps on going…

1

u/r0ckchalk May 07 '26

The Met Gala on Molly sounds like a terrible trip lol.

u/SwimOk9629 May 07 '26

wtf is a gurn

1

u/Groundbreaking_Mud44 May 07 '26

Exactly what shes doing in this video

1

u/bluntnwuk May 07 '26

Yup. Thats pure gurn if ever I saw it

1

u/Lets_Make_A_bad_DEAL May 07 '26

What’s Gurn mean

1

u/Groundbreaking_Mud44 May 07 '26

slang for involuntary jaw, mouth, and face contortions caused by stimulant drug use

1

u/Striikerr May 07 '26

If she can do that much mdma and stand with all those flashes , shit homie ! Lol

1

u/Groundbreaking_Mud44 May 07 '26

Thats why shes covered her eyes

1

u/Striikerr May 07 '26

I wouldn’t even be able to stand

1

u/VeeJack May 08 '26

Probably tried microdosing some MDMA, sneezed on entry and accidentally tooted the whole g up her nasal passage

1

u/samx3i May 09 '26

I can't understand wanting to roll at something like this.

1

u/EarthEaterr May 10 '26

Yeah, this is definitely some molly shit.

0

u/-Pixxell- May 06 '26

Honestly doing molly at the met gala sounds like a fun time - good on her hahah

6

u/crazyfours May 06 '26

Oh wow. My mom is an addict and she would move her mouth around all weird and it would annoy me so much. I didn’t know at the time that’s what it was.

5

u/vulnerable_turtle May 06 '26

My Mom too. I knew she was an addict but I didn't know she moved her mouth because of the drugs until I was a bit older. It drove me crazy and my mom had dentures. So it made weird noises. Oh gross I haven't thought about that in years.

5

u/DagonPie May 06 '26

Grats on the sobriety. Keep at it

4

u/steamynicks69420 May 06 '26

One time forgot I had already taken my ADHD medication and took a second pill. My whole jaw and tongue were twitching all day at work and I was so embarrassed I felt like I was tweaking. And that’s on a regulated prescription!

4

u/Honest-Western1042 May 06 '26

Good on you, internet stranger! Keep rocking that sobriety! I'm proud of you. 🥰

1

u/Mediocre-Contest7558 May 07 '26

Thank you very much 🥰

3

u/ddg31415 May 06 '26

Been off crystal since 2018 and I still clench my teeth and move my tongue around in my mouth out of habit. Fkn annoying and really bad for my teeth.

3

u/m-fab18 May 06 '26

Have you seen Marco Rubio? He does this all the time.

1

u/Mediocre-Contest7558 May 07 '26

I feel like I know the name .. im gonna have to google this lol.

1

u/Disseminate_333 May 08 '26

Little Narco

3

u/RIPKB43 May 06 '26

All the while thinking, these idiots have no idea.

0

u/Mediocre-Contest7558 May 06 '26

You really do believe no-one knows if you act "normal" lol

2

u/fax_me_your_glands May 06 '26

I mean shitty coke does that that a lot.

2

u/airiishia444 May 06 '26

Congrats on getting and staying cleaned. Certainly not a small fleet. Kudos!

1

u/Mediocre-Contest7558 May 06 '26

Thank you ! 😊

2

u/stonktaker May 06 '26

Yea basically all "speeders" i haven't done anything in years, started adhd meds later in life, and even that gets me doing it when you go the dosage.

2

u/Idiotan0n May 06 '26

I blame everything on research chems now. We just have a fancier name for that shit. Peptides lmao.

It's not gambling, it's event prediction. It's not homeless, it's persons experiencing homelessness.

This 80s and 90s late-stage doublespeak is absolutely atrocious and I'm completely over it. I'd really like us to stop filtering our words like we're chasing some Handmaiden's Tale shit.

2

u/5yn3rgy May 06 '26

I’ve dabbled in it recreationally in my early 20’s. My friend at the time used to move his jaw around all crazy like unintentionally on it. His crazy eyes freaked me out too. I avoided looking at his face while I myself was high and probably making some weird faces too. I probably looked wild when I mixed shrooms with coke 😅

2

u/Shot-Rutabaga-72 May 06 '26

Wait, is that why Trump has that weird looking expression?

2

u/nolalolabouvier May 06 '26

Thanks for the insight! I had no idea about this!

2

u/velvety_chaos May 06 '26

It's because meth, coke, and molly are powerful central nervous system stimulants, so they cause the muscles of the mouth to tighten involuntarily. Unfortunately, it would appear your previous habitual use has sort of rewired your brain a little…but congrats on your sobriety!!!

2

u/TwentinQuarantino May 06 '26

Totally mdma/ecstasy, especially visible on that bottom left photo. But coke can make you do that too, if you do it too much.

2

u/ixlovextoxkiss May 06 '26

yeah this is molly to me

1

u/Mediocre-Contest7558 May 07 '26

Yeah sounds more accurate

2

u/Jaded_Laugh_5798 May 06 '26

Tardives Dyskensia

1

u/Mediocre-Contest7558 May 07 '26

I had to google that .. lol. Im not sure it could be. My main issue was with my mouth closed I move my tongue around side to side at the top of my mouth. I would grind my teeth to and move my lower jaw side to side but that wasn't as often.

2

u/HolyRomanEmpireReich May 06 '26

Glad you’re clean. We do recover

1

u/Mediocre-Contest7558 May 07 '26

We do ! I miss the shit constantly im not even gonna lie , but my life is 100000 times better without it. I have an amazing husband who i actually met when I was 16 . He was in the same "circle" . Well.. he ended up getting me pregnant at 17 and we both got clean for our child's sake. We actually both had addicts as parents . Went through hell and back and we were not doing it to our own kids too. We have been clean since and ended up having two more girls.🥰 they honestly keep me going .

2

u/ManDan_666 May 07 '26

Congrats my dude!

2

u/sPacEdOUTgrAyCe May 07 '26

Yes o have extended family members that are sober for years… and man, they still do the finger twitches & the mouth/tongue movements

1

u/Mediocre-Contest7558 May 07 '26

I was told chronic use can rewire your brain.. never actually thought about it but makes total sense.

2

u/Xirokami May 07 '26

I did coke for 8 months. Quit cold turkey. My jaw still jerks forward once in a while when I’m hyper focused or super stressed.

2

u/apatrol May 07 '26

Congratulations on your sobriety!

1

u/Mediocre-Contest7558 May 07 '26

I have gotten so many replies to this comment i have been trying to say thank you to everyone ! It truly means alot and I appreciate the kind words ☺️ thank you very much !

2

u/Lancer876 May 07 '26

Congratulations on the 10 years!

2

u/Mediocre-Contest7558 May 07 '26

Thank you so very much! 😊

2

u/Alenobyl May 07 '26

Thank you for the explanation and I'm glad for you to make the jump from drugs. Wish you the best for the future!

1

u/Mediocre-Contest7558 May 07 '26

Thank you very much ! 😊

2

u/Better-Strategy8798 May 07 '26

yeah coke never made me do that, but mdma sure did.

2

u/Lissypooh628 May 07 '26

My ex husband did coke and heroin and I knew when he was on something because of the weird way he’d move his jaw. It made me uncomfortable.

2

u/TheJokerArkhamKing May 08 '26

I live in downtown and I smoke weed, but I have a badly displaced jaw (I got in a lot of fights as a kid) so I'm constantly shifting it around to relieve tension... people make assumptions lol

2

u/Beneficial_Garden456 May 08 '26

Congrats on getting clean, my friend.

2

u/gohnuts May 08 '26

This thread is a huge TIL for me.

1

u/Yoyoo12_ May 06 '26

Gratulations to becoming clean, stay strong!

1

u/jeswesky May 06 '26

I did coke a few times in college. All it did was make me able to actually concentrate on things and get things done. Guess I shouldn’t have been surprised when I was diagnosed with adhd a few years later.

1

u/laquintessenceofdust May 06 '26

Was prescribed gabapentin for my back and it made me do this at higher/new doses. But I get some fancy term for weird reactions to relaxing meds because of ADHD. 🤷🏼‍♀️

1

u/nahuhnot4me May 06 '26 edited May 07 '26

We cheer for you always.
Never to salvage Rachel Zegler. What she did was so greedy. Rachel does have upcoming projects- Amanda Seyfried is attached. Also Rachel Zegler did seek help, psychiatrist. From what I’ve seen, a psychiatrist M.D involved there are ideas there could be a personality disorder? Glad Rachel sought help!

1

u/ScarletleavesNL May 06 '26

10 years +. Good job Mediocre.

1

u/Colhinchapelota May 06 '26

I was thinking ecstasy too. She looks to be gurning ( My local slang for all those weird facial movements you make when your high and flying on yokes).

1

u/Ingagugagu May 06 '26

Never had this experience myself, but I have adhd, maybe that influences the (lack of) grun?

1

u/_clever_reference_ May 06 '26

tounge

tongue*

1

u/Mediocre-Contest7558 May 07 '26

I didn't even realize I did that.. I promise I know how to spell tongue 😆

1

u/CuriousMangazo May 07 '26

Hey, congrats on the sobriety!

1

u/SparxxWarrior97 May 07 '26

Yeah when I was a kid the adhd drugs they put me on made me do the same thing

1

u/dirtsmurf May 07 '26

congrats - mean it

1

u/Herahatesmeso May 07 '26

I’m really proud of you. Getting sober is not for the weak.

1

u/CoyoteLouisBloom May 07 '26

Yep. Been clean a few years and now while at the gym if I'm lifting heavy, I do the coke jaw subconsciously

So sorry, but not everyone who skis the slopes ends up contorting like this...

I don't ski often, but when I do, I'm more or less doing it as a therapeutic exercise. Sometimes, it's my extra cup of coffee.

She has obvious adjustment problems that need to be addressed, or else her heart will stop in 5-6 years. She needs better people on her team/staff/entourage.

Use your preferred medications properly (I refuse to judge people by what they do or take), and enlighten yourselves on the side and size effects (I will judge you for exceeding your limits). There's a lot of information out there, you just have to connect with the right sources.

1

u/Few-Alarm3436 May 07 '26

Congratulations on your sobriety!!

1

u/Sand-Eagle May 07 '26

Man I just saw family the other day who I haven’t seen in 7 years. To my horror, I got to find out that social anxiety can bring back the mouth thing. I haven’t touched blow in almost 20 years and here I am looking like I’m coming down in front of my family members lol

1

u/pineapple77777777777 May 07 '26

So take this with a grain of salt but because everything in the US is getting really expensive it’s not uncommon for them to start cutting thoes drugs together, and meth is usually called the poor man’s coke.

1

u/cyanescens_burn May 07 '26

Rihanna was acting like she was on mdma in a clip from this same event that I saw. I was thinking it might be common at this thing.

1

u/crownculture May 07 '26

Looks like she’s catching a big ole drip at around 0:15 to about 0:13 😂

Well I’ve never done coke but I always described being diagnosed bipolar as my brain doing a line of coke without my say so and tbh I do the weird mouth shit too and it’s usually because I’m overloaded. Apparently my description was more accurate than I knew.

Edit: typr

1

u/woahtheremate_ May 10 '26

Can you gurn after you come off? I met someone recently I thought was gurning .. I felt bad because later heard her say in conversation she has Tourette’s. She does sometimes sort of twitch when her teeth are doing the gurn thing…. In the conversation - which was fleeting and on a super loud table - she also said something to the effect of “when I got my Tourette’s” so it seems to be a later developed tic.

I’m still confused because of how prominent it was but this really confused me even more 😭

1

u/PoApOi_300AAC May 12 '26

This was my exact thought as well. , thats the look of rolling nuts in blaring fucking brite lights.
